Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Evening

Tony had the DVD for Harry V and a box full of doughnuts from J, GOB, because he couldn't think of any good reason to not have doughnuts for dinner. He put the movie in and flopped down on the couch with the remote.

Dinah needed to see this movie, to have some idea of what she was getting herself into. She flopped down next to him, and looked wistfully at the doughnuts. "So what does Geoffrey think of this version of the play?"

Tony pushed the doughnuts towards her. "I have no idea," he said. "I haven't asked yet."

Dinah smiled gratefully at him, and took a doughnut before popping open her Sprite. "Mmmm. It's supposed to be good though, right? Not boring, not hard to follow?"

"I hope so," Tony said. "We can try it with subtitles on if it doesn't make sense. Though I don't know how much that'll help."

"Yeah, I didn't understand half of the words in the bit from the script that he had me reading." Dinah tore her doughnut in half and started nibbling. "So was it like that on the last Shakespeare play? Did it at least make sense by the end?"

"Yeah, it did. Geoffrey's an amazing director," Tony said.

"Coooool." Dinah grinned and tilted her head. "Has anything ever gone wrong during the performances? That theatre looks a little run-down."

On-screen, a contingency of diplomats were approaching the English court.

"One of the actors turned into a hyena," Tony said. "But that was before I worked there."

Dinah stared at him. "During a performance?"

Great. A whole new thing to worry about.

"I think it actually happened before a performance? But they had to find a replacement for the night."

"Oh, that's good," Dinah said a little weakly. "Or something. Wow. I really wouldn't have believed you before I met Robin this morning."

"Oh, yeah, the frog," Tony smiled. "He's a nice guy. But yeah, this place pushes the boundaries on weird."

"Totally. Although I'm not believing in squirrels who spy on people until after tonight's radio broadcast," Dinah said stubbornly. "That's just silly."

"Are squirrel-spies really so much harder to believe in than the rest?" Tony asked. "Or do you just feel like you have to hold out on something or feel like the most gullible person around?"

"Yes?" Dinah said hopelessly. "To both?"

Tony smiled. "I know it's a lot. It gets easier, though."

"I'm holding you to that, you know." Dinah sighed and sat back, watching Harry come down hard on the three co-conspirators. "Otherwise, I'll be out of my mind by Spring Break."

"Then you wouldn't be in any condition to hold me to that, would you?" Tony teased.

Dinah reached out to whap him with a pillow, then decided to try and TK his doughnut to her.

"Hey!" Tony exclaimed as his doughnut flew out of his hand. He gave her a mock glare. "Fine." He Called another one from the box to his hand and took a bite of it triumphantly.
