Second Floor Common Room, Saturday Evening

Tony had the DVD for Harry V and a box full of doughnuts from J, GOB, because he couldn't think of any good reason to not have doughnuts for dinner. He put the movie in and flopped down on the couch with the remote.

A lot of weird stuff seemed to happen at home, particular when she hung out with Alex and the rest of the Russo family. It's just that the Russos always had a good explanation for all the weirdness.

"No, not really," said Harper. "I'm just a regular ol' New York City girl. The squirrels we get there are perfectly normal."

"As far as you know," Tony grinned.

"I guess so," said Harper. Now that she thought about it, she'd never really paid attention to squirrels in New York.

"So... if the stuff about the squirrels is true, then there's also gremlins that make you do embarrassing stuff?"

"I think so," Tony said. "It hasn't actually happened to me yet. But if you see a small green thing, don't let it bite you." He considered. "Which is probably good advice in general."

"Oh, yeah, definitely," said Harper. "Guess that means I should apologize to Alex. I'm glad she wasn't trying to trick me after all."

"Probably not," Tony said. "I spent last summer helping save the world from a Shadowlord trying to invade from another dimension and I still was overwhelmed with the weird when I got here. But you'll get used to it."
