Tony had the DVD for Harry V and a box full of doughnuts from J, GOB, because he couldn't think of any good reason to not have doughnuts for dinner. He put the movie in and flopped down on the couch with the remote.

"Yeah, I saw you too. That shuttle was fun!" said Harper. "I really think I'm going to like it at this school. Everyone seems so cool."

"They do, don't they?" Dinah looked around and lowered her voice. "Plus, you can't beat the scenery."

"It's definitely a different view from New York City, but sometimes change can be a good thing," said Harper.

"I'm from New Gotham City, and people keep telling me it's like New York," Dinah said, sitting forward, curious. "What's it like? How big is it?"

"Hmm, I've never heard of New Gotham City," said Harper, puzzled. "But New York City is huge. We're the financial capital of the world and there's tons of skyscrapers."

"Nobody here has, but it's got the same characteristics as your New York City," Dinah said, settling back with a sigh. "That's so, so weird."

"My friend Alex tried to warn me that people really do come from all different places here, but I thought that just meant there were foreign students," said Harper.

Adding in confirmation that there really were squirrels as reporters, Harper was starting to wonder how many more surprises she'd find in Fandom.

"Oh, so you know someone who goes here already? Alex?" Dinah said, tilting her head. "Hunh. This guy I met this morning, his sister teaches here. Must be nice."

And let's not mention that it's his twin sister from the future, mmmkay?

"My best friend Alex started going here last year," said Harper. "And it just wasn't any fun anymore without her around. I came to visit her for a weekend and had so much fun that I knew I had to transfer."

"Ha! That's cool. We just got this totally misleading brochure, and I kinda wanted to get away from my old school, so... here I am."

"I understand," said Harper. "There was this mean girl at my old school and she had this huge clique. I needed to get away from them."

"That's... kinda similar to what happened to me," Dinah said. If you squinted. A lot. "I got into a fight, and everyone was waiting for me to get into another one. And it totally was not my fault." That photographer had needed a nose job anyway.

"That's awful," said Harper. "Gigi, the mean girl, invited me to this fancy afternoon tea at a fancy hotel. I was so excited that she was letting me hang out with her crowd. It turned out that they had a contest where the winner was the person who brought the biggest loser. Gigi won."

"God, that's mean," Dinah said, aghast. "Mean Girl Mafia. I haven't run into anyone like that here, though." Harper might be a little weird on the subject of clothes, but that was just totally unacceptable behavior.
