Tony had the DVD for Harry V and a box full of doughnuts from J, GOB, because he couldn't think of any good reason to not have doughnuts for dinner. He put the movie in and flopped down on the couch with the remote.

"Yeah, still getting my bearings around here. Actually, I thought you might be able to help me with something. I found out a friend of mine's from 1991, and she wants to catch up on 20 years of music."

"I can help with that," she said. "As long as she doesn't mind it being a little skewed towards the punk/hard rock side of things."

Priestly laughed. "That's pretty much where I'd skew her, too. I figure she'll probably love the riot grrrls, if nothing else."

"Good, 'cause if you send me someone who wants to hear Britney Spears or some whining country crap the retaliation would be fierce," she teased.

"Well, she did say she's into New Kids. But I figure we can steer her back in the right direction."

She winced. "Oh God, I hope so."

"Hey, who can resist a little Sleater-Kinney or Bad Religion? Maybe that Blind Melon song. . . ." He was clearly getting pretty into his task. "I bet I could find some decent punk covers of the New Kids stuff to ease her into it."

"Probably," Peyton said, "though it does still go against the grain to assist in any NKOB appreciation."

She just raised an eyebrow at him. "They'd have to be damn good covers."

"Well, that doesn't hurt obviously," she teased. "But yeah, I like to think I can appreciate people on their own merits."
