Cheerleading Practice, Gym [Wednesday, After Classes]

Angela was feeling so very much more cheerful today than the last time she did this, and was down early to set out the mats, sign in sheet, and put out bottles of water. Hydration is key, as always.

That done, she threw in a CD, upped the volume and settled down on the mats to warm up.

"When it comes to modern art, you actually never know," Angela said with a laugh. "That would be more normal than a lot of things I've seen."

"I could throw some paint on a canvas and call it art," Hannibal decided. "Make millions!"

"If Jackson Pollock can do it." Angela shrugged cheerfully. "But I thought you weren't into that artsy thing at all."

"I'm not but I do like money," he said and grinned. "And if I have to be an artist to accomplish that, I could live to like art stuff."

"You'd find it can be way more fun than you'd think," Angela promised him.

"I tried art when I was a kid," Hannibal said. "My clay pinch pot? It looked more like a flat plate."

"And here I thought you were good with your hands," she teased as she reached for her toes.

"Hey, I am," he said defensively. "Just not with clay."

"I'm sure we can work on that," Angela said, grinning at him. "It's what play doh was made for, after all."

"Yeah, I use to just throw that stuff at people," Hannibal admitted. "Made for a great projectile."

Angela laughed, nodding at that. "That part's fun too," she allowed.

"Thanks, I thought so," he said and grinned. "Get that stuff rolled into a little ball and it can really fly."

"Great for getting the attention of the girls you liked, huh?"

"And for throwing it at the heads of people I didn't like," he added.

Angela grinned. "I did more of the former," she said with a shrug.

"I did a little of both," he said. "Equal opportunity."

"Does bring a little extra variety into it, I'll give you," Angela said with a grin. "Me, I'm just one of those that's all about the love."

"Aww, lover not a fighter," he said and grinned. "That seems to be a lot of people here."

"Your face would say otherwise," Angela teased. "But it's a path that's worked out nicely for me."

"Hey, I'm a little bit of both," he decided. "Fighting and loving and loving and fighting."

"It's definitely a combo that can work," Angela said with a laugh. "Angry sex is hot."

Well, it was.

"But you gotta get angry before the sex and sometimes that kind of sucks," he replied.

Angela shrugged. She couldn't deny that was the truth. "Sucks when you actually care about whoever it is," she said. "They're the ones you don't ever want hating you, even if it's probably going to pass."

"You feel like helping with something?"

"Depends on what it is," Hannibal said. "Whatcha need?"

"Nothing you're going to hate," Angela promised with a laugh. "Or, shouldn't, anyway."

"Just looking for someone to put a little pressure on my back," she made a point of reaching towards her spread feet in her indication of a stretch. "Supposed to be working my flexibility here."
