Turtle needed to get out of the room.

Trust her, if you had to deal with her boyfriend at the starts of a potential clothing crisis, you'd need to get out of the room, too.

She thought that maybe it was just best to give Jeff some space right now, so, in the PJ pants and tank top that made up the few articles of clothing that she had available to her after all was said and done,she went down to the common room to make some hot chocolate, plop on the couch, and see if there was anything good on TV.

Hurley chuckled. "Complete with jacuzzi and satellite TV," he joked.

"I could do it," Turtle nodded with the utmost conviction. "And then you won't even want to leave."

Hurley nodded with a big smile on his face. "See? This is why you're awesome."

"Turtle Island!" she suddenly realized. "It even sounds like it'll totally rock!"

"Wow. So, now you know what to do after college. Run your own island getaway," Hurley said.

"Noooo," Turtle said, "that'll be after college and after I make a name for myself as a killer in the courtroom. Not an actual killer; that's a metaphor. And then, once I've done what I've loved and built up plenty of name recognition, then the get-away can happen, and I can charge major bucks for it, too."

"Awesome," Hurley said. "I totally forgot about the lawyer thing. D'uh. Sorry."

Turtle waved her hand. "No worries. I mean, I've got my hand into fifty gazillion things; can't expect everyone to remember all of them, right?"

"True," Hurley said. "You're a hard girl to follow. But I'm sure Jeff works extra hard for it."

Turtle grinned at that. "Hardly," she said. "If there's anyone in that relationship who's hard to follow, it's him, not me. Trust me."

"Oh, dude," Hurley said. "I totally get that. I have trouble following Jeff."

"It takes a lot of practice," Turtle mused, "and a certain ability to just let a lot of things go. Some things are better left lost."

"Better left lost," Hurley repeated. "I'll keep that in mind."

Turtle's head bobbed, her eyes growing mind. "Trust me," she repeated, "it's better for everyone involved that way."

"Like when he starts going on about vegetables," Hurley said.

"..Vegetables?" Turtle's head tilted. "Usually, it's fruits."

But she could still see vegetables. Oh, yes. She could.

"Are tomatoes vegetables?" Hurley asked.

"No," Turtle said, frowning with uncertainty, "I think they're technically fruit. But, oh, man. I know the tomato thing. Oh, maaaan, do I know."
