Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

It was time for Darkest Night and so Firekeeper and Blind Seer were curled up on their usual spot on the couch, with chips and some of the sweet fizzy drink to snack on while they watched tonight's episode- something about a board game with an evil curse on it.

"Well, nothing wrong with a little beer and partying," Tony allowed. "Who's a 'frat boy'?"

"Sookie say Emmett," Firekeeper shrugged. Blind Seer, predictably enough, growled slightly at the mention of Emmett's name.

"Who's Emmett?" Tony asked, glancing at Blind Seer curiously.

"New student," Firekeeper explained. "He is also in movies class. Blind Seer say he not like the way he smell."

Tony couldn't remember which one was Emmett. Too many new people. "Because he smells bad?" he asked. "Or because he smells, like," he couldn't think of the right word, "bad?"

Firekeeper glanced at Blind Seer. "He not sure, exactly. Maybe not bad like wicked, but something strange. Enough to make him not trust."

"Huh," Tony said. He made a mental note to keep an eye on this guy. Weird was normal around here but weird and secret made him uneasy. "Maybe he's an alien?" he suggested.

"Alien," Firekeeper frowned, trying to remember what that meant. "Is being from another planet?" she guessed.

"Exactly," Tony said.

Firekeeper sighed. "Human words is sometimes puzzling," she admitted. "Planet, world, some say these is being the same thing. But my world is not this one but there is not other planets."

Tony nodded. "We don't have a good word for people from other worlds. Maybe because most people don't believe they exist?"

"I not believe so, before I comed here," Firekeeper admitted. "Except that world of beasts and world of humans is much different. But even in being different, they is breathing the same air, drinking from the same river."
