Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

It was time for Darkest Night and so Firekeeper and Blind Seer were curled up on their usual spot on the couch, with chips and some of the sweet fizzy drink to snack on while they watched tonight's episode- something about a board game with an evil curse on it.

"Oh, I get it," Tahiri said. "You would've loved Master Tionne, one of my teachers back home. She goes all over the galaxy collecting stories and writing songs about them, and using them as lessons."

"Uh huh. Really long ballads." Tahiri couldn't help grinning at Firekeeper's interest. "Sometimes historical stuff, sometimes legends. Usually something that she thinks could teach us valuable life lessons."

"Really? Maybe I can ask her to send some when she gets a chance," Tahiri replied, bouncing a bit on the couch. Firekeeper's excitement was infectious. "It'd probably be more interesting than having me tell you all about my galaxy."

"I would like this very much," Firekeeper said. "Music, and dancing, they is things beasts is not having. Things that first maked me think maybe humans is worth my time after all."

"Who knew they weren't so bad, huh?" Tahiri asked lightly. "Tuskens were big on storytelling but singing is . . . kind of difficult and it's hard to dance when you're always wrapped up from head to foot. Okay, I'll ask her when I write home next."

"Definitely not a problem," Tahiri assured her. Tionne would probably be glad to have copies of some of her ballads safe outside of the galaxy just in case.

"Still," Firekeeper grinned impishly. "This not mean I not want you to talk about your galaxy, if you is willing." Curiosity was one of those very human traits that not even being raised as a wolf could erase, apparently.
