3rd Floor Common Room: Monday Night [1-19-09]

Peyton stretched out on the couch with more take-out Chinese than she'd ever manage to eat on her own. She couldn't help wondering if there'd be any fall-out - good or bad - from the crazy phone calls she'd placed and misplaced yesterday.

There was enough mindless television on to keep her distracted for a few hours.

"Seriously? Wow." Dinah thought about that, then admitted, "Even back in Opal, there were rifles and shotguns. But that's Missouri hunting scene, not crime." She poked at her food a little, thinking.

Dinah shrugged, still thinking about Gotham. "Partly it was a macho thing, but partly it was just wanting deer and elk sausage, I think. Which is yummy, if you don't have to think about how they make it." She grinned a little. "I like my food not looking like Bambi, though."

Why was this just friendly coffee again? ... Probably because Priestly just said stuff like that, and there didn't seem to be any extra meaning to it.

So yeah, there was blushing, but also managing to just smile and not die. "Thanks."
