4th Floor Common Room [Sunday, Around Midday]

Angela had been up late watching movies last night, so she was up late today. Most teenagers would agree that mornings were not meant for being awake for anyway. Especially not when it was a Sunday.

Eventually she made it to the common room. And now? She was dancing to whatever was playing on MTV and cooking breakfast.

Uh. Sort of. if you could call toasting ready-made waffles 'cooking'. Angela did.

"Hi," Harry said back. "I'm Harry."

"Well, it's very nice to meet you," she said with a bright smile.

"You had a good couple of days with the dance and everything?" Angela asked, taking a bite of her waffle.

"Didn't go," Harry confessed. "I've got this tendency toward hermitude that gets in the way of a social life. You?"

"Aw, that's sad," Angela decided. "You're way to cute for the hermit life."

"I had a lot of fun. Danced the night away, or close enough."

"Hermits are all cute. It's just that nobody knows it because they never get seen," Harry told her. "I'm trying to cut down on the hermiting though. I miss all the fun, all the girls, all the spiked punch."

"If you ever need help, I am great at getting people out of hermity ways," Angela told him. "One of my many useful skills."

Ignore the part where she tried it on Peyton for the dance, and it didn't work.

"Help couldn't hurt," Harry said. "Might have to take you up on that."

Angela grinned. "For a recovering hermit, we'd have to start out easy," she teased. "But I think we can bring you back from that."

"Baby steps, right? Hey, I made it out of my room and into a common room all on my own today. Not even on my floor. I think it's a good place to start."

"Next one? Town," Angela told him.

Harry gave an overdramatic sigh. "If I must. Next thing you know you're going to tell me I have to talk to people while I'm there."

"Funnily enough, that is the point of this crazy socialisation exercise," she laughed. "But I'd try not to make the whole experience too tedious for you."

"I'll do my best to socialize," Harry said. "Scout's honor. Even if I was never a scout."

"Does that actually count for anything if you weren't?" she asked.

"Wizard's honor just doesn't have quite the same ring to it," Harry said.

"Whole different level of cool to that one," Angela told him.

There was a pause there.

"You're a wizard?"

"I am," Harry confirmed.

"Don't know many of those," she admitted. "Ninja's, witches, felt frogs... yes, but--" She shook her head with a little smile. "Interesting."

"It's the rarity that makes us so cool," Harry said, very seriously.

"I can see," Angela remarked with a smirk. "Very impressive, that."

"I do my best," Harry said. "Doesn't always work. But I try. Of course I'm usually being a hermit so there's nobody to impress, maybe that's part of why it doesn't work."

"I do usually find that helps," she said, shooting him a smile. "An empty dorm room isn't the most receptive audience."

"So I guess this socialization project is my last, best hope then."

Angela smirked, slouching back into the couch. "You make it sound like such a trial."

"Note to self, work on positive attitude?" Harry grinned. "Nah. Should be entertaining, at least. See how long I last at not hermiting this time."
