It was good to be back at school where she could have a club meeting. Because a club meeting meant an excuse to shoot things, and shooting things was relaxing.

She also needed to talk to Mr. Algren. There were final details to be worked out for the laser tag trip. Which probably explained both the subtle (somewhat uncharacteristic) smile playing around the corners of Triela's lips and her oddly distracted air.

Or there could be some other explanation. It was Fandom, after all.

Dōjima was painstakingly disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling her Walther, going over each section with care.

It had been a week, okay? She missed her baby.

Triela just watched from an out of the way spot and grinned. It was always nice to see someone who took good care of their gear.

Jack was taking great care to line up his shots and aim for the bullseye. He was getting better. They were all in the ring.

Break had been great! Mostly. Up to a certain point.

Shooting wasn't as soothing as normal, however, as Dōjima kept hearing Romeo's pointers from their last gun-date in her mind every time she checked the target. She really needed to quit pulling to the left.

Agnes borrowed a handgun and used it enthusiastically. Her aim was improving, and she felt more confident every time she held the weapon in her hand.

Tahiri's aim was noticeably better this week, and she was handling her blaster with more ease.

She might complain about the Wraiths being annoying, but she'd picked up a few things from Face and Kell too.

Momoko's break had been nice, but she was still eager to improve her shooting. She may not be able to use a gun back home, but she was sure going to know how.

Plus she didn't want to look bad when they played laser tag. Shhh.

Arthur had heard word of the gun club. Visiting it would only fit snuggly in his plan to become more acquainted with the time (if with reasonable distance) and, honestly, he could use some sheer, simple violence right now.

He showed up to watch, his arms crossed, his head tilted thoughtfully.

Triela had enough situational awareness to realize that they had a newcomer. She turned, a welcoming smile on her face. "Hi--" the words died when she recognized the visitor.

"Oh. It's you."

Algren was there, wearing an odd amalgam of clothing consisting of a tight Armani sweater and his 'vintage' 1876 slightly abused brown duster coat, with the handle of a hammer sticking out of one pocket.

He was also slightly disgruntled and muttering something about Tony Stark, the color 'chartreuse', and bees.

... He really needed to get himself a gun.
