Wednesday After Classes, The Gym -- Cheerleading Practice

Savannah was a little more somber than usual as she got to the Gym and set up for practice. She pulled out the mats and made sure they were perfectly aligned. After doing that, she set up a table for the refreshments and then a table with the sign in sheet and the music.

The gym was alive with the sounds of techno as Savannah started stretching out.

"Yeah. It's nice having Brooke here with me. And I've made some good friends." She smiled down at her feet as she stretched. "I like it. I miss home, but it's nice here."

"You're settling in good then?" she asked.

"Yeah. I mean . . . things here are a little bizarre, but that's kind of part of the fun."

She nodded. "I know what you mean. Sometimes it's frustrating as hell, but it's never boring."
