Second Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Wednesday night found Firekeeper and Blind Seer, as usual, in the common room for their weekly dose of Darkest Night.

At first, tonight's episode had looked especially promising, as the plot claimed to center around a girl who'd been raised by wolves.

Within minutes, though, there was a somewhat annoyed-looking girl who actually had been raised by wolves throwing the occasional piece of popcorn at the screen.

Those weren't even real wolves they were using!

"True," Francine said, shaking her head. "At least with old shows like Bitterwoman and Mister What, the bad effects are part of the fun."

"I not know of either of those," she admitted.

"Ohmmigod, you've never seen Bitterwoman?" Why this should be a surprise when she'd had to explain the whole concept to Merlin already is anybody's guess - though Firekeeper was a little more familiar with TV. "It's one of my favorite shows from when I was little."

"What is about?" Firekeeper asked. She was always interested in new (to her) television!

"It's about this lady, Cathy Carter, who's kind of plain and wears glasses, but she has a secret identity as Bitterwoman! Who's hot and fights crime and has a whip."
