Gym, Friday After Classes

The gym was decorated in festive blue and gold for the auction the cheerleaders were holding.

There was happy, bouncy music playing as everyone arrived and mingled, and there was a table set up with food and drinks for the attendees to enjoy.

A platform had been set up in one end of the gym and there was a podium with a microphone for the auctioneer.

The "Lunch With A Cheerleader Auction" was about to begin.

Priestly grinned. "It's totally cool. It takes a lot to conquer a newspaper folded into a hat."

"And the feathers!" There was a subtle sigh of relief as Eric realised Priestly wasn't taking this the wrong way. "... The sad part is? My mother will probably see me spending this and be relieved. I haven't exactly been using any of my spending money since I got to Fandom."

Eric just looked at Priestly a moment, and then broke out laughing. "How about this? We could go and do something on the mainland. My treat!"

Eric shook his head. "Not at all. Really, seriously, bring whatever you like! I'll eat pretty much anything." He made a face. "I mean, I've had to sit through haute cuisine meals and act like it was the best thing I'd ever had. I doubt you could come up with much that would gross me out, unless you were actively trying."

Eric nodded. "Yeah, I guess," he said. "Although I'd hope you'd treat me well for spending so much?"

Time to pull out the puppy-dog eyes.

"That we should. My weekends are generally pretty open. It's your dollar -- well, lots of dollars -- so where is totally up to you."

Give him a moment.

"... Um. Not the full service. I just mean... I mean, um. Just, y'know. I thought you were setting it up? But if you want me to choose, I can totally do that."

"My end of the deal was for the food and my lovely presence," Priestly pointed out. "You ask me to pick and we'll end up at the diner where I work. Well, maybe not. Lacey might not like me bringing in outside food."

Eric nodded and considered, shoving aside his embarrassment. "... What about the roof?" he asked. "That could work, I think."
