The Range - Girls With Guns [Tuesday afternoon]

After the field trip yesterday Triela had most definitely needed some stress relief, so it didn't even occur to her not to go to the range today. In fact she went early because today she had a lot of gear to bring in. She had a dozen different shotguns in a stack and a huge crate labeled "Property of the United States Government".

She wasn't even thinking about other people showing up today, but she really, really needed to shoot some stuff. She pulled a box labeled "FRAG-12, 100 count" and started loading her shotgun.

Bless those gun-happy Americans and their apparently burning need to design grenades that you fired from a shotgun.

If Tahiri had been quiet and serious yesterday, today she was doubly so, completely focused on cleaning her blaster and not paying any attention to the people around her.

Dinah had planned on just staying quiet and not really chatting much today, but the sight of something that said "Property of the United States Government" on it had her boggling. "How...? Where...?"

"I don't usually ask where my suppliers get things that they probably aren't supposed to." She was still surprised that Cable had even agreed to sell her the stuff. And she doubted he'd ever do it again.

While Lion-o was relieved that the whole deal with the zombies was behind him, he was still concerned about the strange behavior of the Sword of Omens.

K-Mart was a little asquee at the sight of shotguns. And even more asquee at the other explosion-causing things.

Yes, the girl had some issues to work out today. Which was why she looked a little too determined.

"I do, actually," K-Mart said, glancing over the shotguns again before pointing. "Those two." She pointed to a third. "And I can use that one without shooting my foot off, but that's about it."

Triela has a whole bunch of shotguns with exploding ammunition. And she's been known to share. Or you can brush up with your own weapons.

Booooom! Dinah tried the exploding shotgun shells for a while, then went back to practicing with her usual weapons, thinking that she really had to get one of her own sometime soon.

Momoko was finally starting to really really believe that there were worlds out there with monsters that were not at all like hers back home. And there wasn't always a convenient and safe place to duck into and transform into Blossom to help fight them! But this was something that Momoko could do, so she was going to keep practicing and improving her skills.

And maybe try to not do a little dance every time she got close to the center of the target.

Algren felt about as good as he looked today. He'd been up late last night, making certain nothing had followed them through the portal, and when it had finally closed he'd spent the rest of the night alternating between drinking and showering.

But a little thing like not having actually slept wasn't going to keep him from showing up today to make sure that those who were here weren't being stupid, and those who were able after last night were still all here.
