The Dorms: Early Afternoon [4.5]

Their master had spoken, and the zombie horde obeyed. He demanded the fresh blood of Fandom's children as a sacrifice upon his altar, new minions to begin the invasion of the mainland, and so they would carry out his command.

No matter what.

From somewhere undefined a drum beat carried on the wind, and the zombies of Fandom marched forth, the dorms beckoning them like a beacon. Here there be brains, here there be blood, here there be flesh.

Here, there be prey.

Éowyn spotted the pair of zombies and knew that she could not allow them to get any closer. "You there!" she called, approaching them cautiously. "Be gone from here! Go back to your master and leave us."

Éowyn had no intention of going down easily heh, and unsheathed her sword, ready to slice at whatever body parts got closest first.

Éowyn screeched as she sliced at them, throwing form and tactics to the wind. Those were for fighting creatures who could think and plan in their attacks. With the zombies, all she wanted was to destroy them.

Her yelling only got louder as she felt something hit her face. She was not going to be sick here, she was not going to be sick...

With the zombies so close, Éowyn started getting focused again, and aimed for their necks and heads. Surely they couldn't move without heads, and if it stopped them from bleeding all over her, that was all the better.

Éowyn cried out as her face was cut, and she nearly stumbled backwards in defense. The momentum carried her away from the second zombie, but as she moved back, she had enough space for one more slice to the zombie's neck.

Éowyn made a gagging sound as she tried to kick the head away. She brought one hand up to her face, and put the other to her waist as she desperately tried not to lose the contents of her stomach onto the ground. Sleep would not be coming easily to her tonight, even if they did succeed.
