Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning
Dean was up fairly bright and early -- or at least what he considered bright and early -- and out in the Common Room cooking mass amounts of breakfast. Both John William and Cas were helping and he suspected that even if no one else showed up, the three of them would be able to polish off a good portion of what they were cooking.
And then maybe later he'd take them out for pie.
The boys were Winchesters after all.

"Mommy!" Kendal said, bouncing precariously from her perch on Hannibal's back. Little jumping bean.
"And yeah," he said once he'd gotten the little jumping bean stable again, "these are...mine too."
The twins grinned up at Angela. So polite.

Oh, Peyton was right, this was so her surreal.
"You coping alright there?" That was directed more at Hannibal.w

Well, at least he could stand up straighter now. The twins weren't relinquishing their hold.
"This is Hamilton." The boy waved. "And Madison." And the girl. "And even they get better names than me."

"Hi sweetie," she said, bending a little to put her arm around Kendal when she came over. "Did daddy find you breakfast or anything?"

"It's okay, Daddy," Hamilton said, patting his leg. "We didn't tell."
That obviously made them better. Or something.
no subject
"And apparently you don't learn from your own mistakes," she joked. That, and it was obvious he was a soft touch with these kids. The climbing might've been an indicator.

Okay, Hannibal kind of loved his kid.
"I'm Ham Sandwich," he said, sticking a thumb against his chest.
"Uh, that's a nickname," Hannibal said and rubbed his forehead.
no subject
"You don't have any weird nicknames, do you?" she felt compelled to check, looking down at Kendal.
no subject
"Where the hell do I get these nicknames?" Hannibal asked, making a face.
"I'ma Punkin!" Madison said, unable to be left out of the nickname discussion.

"Are they all gonna come live in one of our castles?" Hamilton asked curiously. "We'll have to make up bedrooms for them. And I don't know if I have enough toys to share."
He had plenty.
"Uh." Hannibal was so eloquent.

Angela reached down to put a hand over his mouth. "Be nice, Nate. No calling people dumb." At least he wasn't calling him anything worse? Dumb wasn't douche, and made for variation from 'girl'.
"Uh, probably not, honey," she replied to Hamilton.
no subject
So his mother's son.
"That's dumb."
And somewhat his father's.

"... You'd be the ones going home," she pointed out logically. "I'm not going anywhere."
no subject
"Why not?" Hamilton asked will his youthful innocence.

Cue lip wibble.
no subject
"Oh, sweetie, I was only teasing," she said quickly. "You should know I love him a whole lot," she tried, scrambling to make that wibble go away.
no subject
Wow, this was weird.

The twins, also, were watching this exchange. How many people did their father love, after all? Sheesh. He was spreading mom's message all over.

Nate eyed her too, prodding at her leg from his spot. "What 'bout miiine?" he pressed.
Uh. "... Sure, of course."
Now it was really weird.
