Sixth Floor, Wednesday Morning

It was early, so there were kids to supervise in the severely slow process of renovation work. "You guys know what to do. Once we get all this junk hauled away, we'll start ripping up the old carpet under your feet right now. That means hard hats and masks. No complaining you can't breathe later."

There had to be something else. Finally Ronon added, "And if you need somethin' talk to the Constable."

It'll take the rest of the morning to finish getting rid of the debris. Use your powers, impress the big guys.

Brooke had no powers. So if anyone looked at her when they said what was being done today, they may have seen the whine face before she started picking stuff up, one piece at a time. Maybe if it took all day, she wouldn't have to rip up carpet.

"Could you work any slower?" John asked, making a disdainful face at Brooke.

She scowled at him. "I really, really could," she warned.

"Of course, you're probably one of those girls who gets the boys to do all the heavy lifting." He didn't know, he was making a rude assumption based on her seemingly lazy attitude.

Brooke gave him a withering glare. "I'm not one of those girls. I set up a lot of stuff on my own, and if boys want to carry the heavy things, I'm not going to tell them no," she rationalized. "Picking up debris? Guess what, I don't wanna."

"Yeah, you know, I thought student work project meant sit on my ass all day and get a tan," he replied with a sarcastic eyeroll.

"It's Fandom. It was entirely possible student work project would have meant sit on my ass all day and get a tan."

John was hard at work again, seemingly never getting enough of the sixth floor and debris clean up.

Visitors are welcome to bring food and attempt to pick up workers.

Now starts the Jell-o arm part. There's moddable crow bars and utility cutters to get this nasty, dusty carpet up.

Jon wasn't a senior, but that didn't stop him from grabbing a hard hat, mask and crow bar. He was in the mood to tear something up.

He's helping out, otherwise he'd get bored or have to talk to Fraser.

Jon chose to talk to Ronon that afternoon because, well, he'd already met the guy. "I heard that anyone can help out. That true?"

Ronon looked up from his work. "Yup. Fraser'll give you extra credit, too."

Not that he taught a class. Shh.

He was decked out in his safety gear and probably looked like a nerd.
