LBJ Campfire, Thursday Night

Sometime during the day, Sam had come to a sad realization - he hadn't had nearly enough s'mores for the amount of time they'd been out at the cabins. When the evening rolled around and the sun finally went down, he lit the cabin's campfire and set himself up with all the necessary supplies, to cook for himself and for anyone else who sat down.

It wasn't long before he figured out that his marshmallow roasting stick was also good for keeping tiny moose away from the fire. It was kind of amazing how this place still found ways to weird him out, even after all this time.

"Sam Winchester," he said, shaking her hand. "It's not often I meet someone who doesn't immediately tell me that my fear of certain food-scorching appliances is irrational."

"I have simply decided that it is one of the many reasons we have The Help," Emma announced airily, waving one hand. "I tried, I fail, I hire a professional who wants my money. Everyone wins."

"Yeah, I can see myself single-handedly keeping some takeout places in business in the future," Sam said. "And then no one will have to deal with fire damage. It really is for the best."

"You'd think for a school full of powers, from what I understand, they'd be a bit more accepting of property damage," Emma sighed. "Sadly, my copy of the student handbook gives the impression that they frown on that."

"Yeah, I think acceptable fire is limited to this," Sam said, motioning to the campfire. "That's okay though, because it's all I need for s'mores, and that's good enough for now."
