Dorm Roof [Monday, Late Afternoon]
Maybe Effy had just got used to being out in the cabins, but sitting around in her new dorm room after she got her workshop out the way felt somehow really cramped. Something which prompted the grabbing of a few things, and exploration for somewhere better to be.
That somewhere, wouldn't you know it, ended up being on the roof.
It was quiet, it had some nice views, and while it might not have been outright sunny it was definitely humid and she stretched out on a deckchair, half soaking up a little warmth and half reading a book she'd stolen from Tony before she left home.
[[Open roof is oooopen!]]

"Isn't the beach better for working on your tan?" he asked by way of greeting as he walked towards the ledge.

"What you doing all the way up here?" She assumed not working on his own tan.

Oh, Griff was never hearing the end of that radio.
"Come to think of it, she tried to warn you away from me too. I didn't know you had a protector. Your very own bodyguard."

"What'd you do to piss her off?" Even Effy managed to get along with Fiona, and she was hardly a prime example of friendly.

He was the epitome of charm, really.
"Threats against my life aren't anything new." He'd heard those from people who were supposed to love him, after all. "I found it more amusing than anything. But oh how glad I am that she didn't influence you. That would have had me crying into my pillow."
Just ignore all that sarcastic tone.

"Fancy seeing you here," Chuck said before lighting up his joint.

"Better for the lack of people," Effy remarked, quirking a bit of a smile. "Pro to all the stairs it takes to get here."

"There's one keeps nagging me about fire safety." Worf definitely came under the heading of excessively moral. Fucking irritating that was getting.
