Dorm Roof [Monday, Late Afternoon]
Maybe Effy had just got used to being out in the cabins, but sitting around in her new dorm room after she got her workshop out the way felt somehow really cramped. Something which prompted the grabbing of a few things, and exploration for somewhere better to be.
That somewhere, wouldn't you know it, ended up being on the roof.
It was quiet, it had some nice views, and while it might not have been outright sunny it was definitely humid and she stretched out on a deckchair, half soaking up a little warmth and half reading a book she'd stolen from Tony before she left home.
[[Open roof is oooopen!]]

It was worth knowing, just in case. She didn't have a particular reason to find him worth bribing yet, but it never hurt to be prepared.

Unfortunately.
"Or you can just make shit up about what I like to amuse yourself."

"Seing you as a closet My Little Pony fan," she said. "I can start spreading the rumours tomorrow."

"Do love freaking out the Jehova's Witnesses who come round, though."

"Telling them you think Jesus would make a fucking hot housemate works pretty well." It was really their own fault for asking if she wanted to share the house of the Lord with him.
And it helped a lot that Effy could have a certain creepy air about her when she put her mind to it.

Or his parents.
"We get Bible thumpers and little old ladies who want invite you to the one stupid church in town."

"This place an improvement?" she asked.

And she hadn't screwed anyone on a desk lately. "Must both be growing as people here."

Not that he really thought that. Not in regards to her, at least.

On occasion, she could actually get along with people. And yes, their sarcastic back and forth did come under 'getting along' to her. Shocker.

Or maybe he didn't. That could be fun too. In a different way.

"Sweet that you want me to like you, though."
