Dorm roof, around noon
So, having been called on being a 'sunshiney' overly-helpful knowitall twice in 48 hours, Dinah felt like she had to actually think about what Ino and Arthur had accused her of. Before a third person told her off for trying to help. After a lot of wrangling, back-and-forthing, mental list-making, and consideration, Dinah decided that:
Ino could weirdly blame Dinah for not being psychic enough to anticipate her finding out about Triela's medical condition, and then getting upset about it. But if she wanted to throw a screaming tantrum, or glare every chance she got? Dinah didn't have to show up for it. Arthur, on the other hand, was kinda right. Half of what Dinah had said to him had been aimed at what she'd thought was his arrogant attitude about what Morgana could do. But Morgana could look out for herself, and hadn't asked for Dinah's back-up. She owed Morgana an apology for trying to speak for her if it ever came up. Maybe she owed Arthur an apology for assuming, and the insults, but she thought the PMS comment that inspired them canceled that out. Anybody else she'd helped or tried to help lately, it was going okay for them, and it wasn't like she was the only one helping them out. Or like they were going to depend on her. The new kids would find their feet in a week or so, and then everyone could progress to jumping off buildings with her. If they wanted to.
Or, try to airwalk like Karla had taught her, like she was right now. Shoes over by the door, eyes shut, humming to try and concentrate.

Of course, there was someone already here. If Esme were the type to leave rather than dealing with someone, she would have, but she couldn't just back away without a reason. Besides, she wasn't supposed to avoid other people's company; they were supposed to avoid hers. Therefore she fairly ignored the other girl- save for an eyebrow raise at whatever she was doing- and went to the edge of the roof to do what she came up here to do.

A little harder to concentrate with someone there, but. Nothing was ever perfect. Dinah closed her eyes again, and tried to push against the roof through her feet, as smooth as possible.

Really, it wasn't like she wanted to be up here with others either, but...
She tilted her head. Was that deer down there teal? She leaned a little further in, as if that would somehow give her a better view.

They probably were.Dinah was still concentrating, but with her eyes closed, was still a little paranoid about what happened last time. Walking off the roof here should be prevented by the wall around the sides, but who could be sure?"Ow!" Or they could do the job perfectly fine, when you walked right into one. Greeeat. Dinah nodded again to the other girl, a little ways down on the same wall she'd just walked into. "Um. Hi. I'm Dinah." Might as well introduce herself while she was looking stupid.

He then walked over to Dinah, very very quietly, and just stood there, curious how long he could stay before she'd register a presence.

She almost walked into Jack before she heard someone breathing, and opened her eyes again, arms out at her sides, looking like a little kid trying to play airplane. "Jack!" Argh. "Hi!"

And having so many minds together in one place was incredibly taxing - at least the cabins had spread them out a little bit. Walls or sheets, it didn't make any difference when you were Emma. Everyone was still loud.
Which was why she had headed to the roof. Em's patience wasn't stellar at the best of times, and right now it was wearing thin. Perhaps a bit of air would help with temptation to just start making all the annoying people think they were kittens or something.

Well, too much, anyway.
"Mr. Priest," she answered, rewarding him with a smile. "I usually find the view from the top to be superior to anything else in the world."

It was a horribly wicked thing to say. He knew that. He also strongly suspected Emma wouldn't mind.

"That depends," she declared. "Is Daddy hiding the good brandy in the parlor again?"

"Tweety," Emma said sweetly. "What are we doing on the roof today? Trying to fly, or throwing people off of it?"
no subject
"Air-walking." Which, sadly, she couldn't demonstrate. "The throwing people off only happens with a rappelling line and harness."
