So, having been called on being a 'sunshiney' overly-helpful knowitall twice in 48 hours, Dinah felt like she had to actually think about what Ino and Arthur had accused her of. Before a third person told her off for trying to help. After a lot of wrangling, back-and-forthing, mental list-making, and consideration, Dinah decided that:

Ino could weirdly blame Dinah for not being psychic enough to anticipate her finding out about Triela's medical condition, and then getting upset about it. But if she wanted to throw a screaming tantrum, or glare every chance she got? Dinah didn't have to show up for it. Arthur, on the other hand, was kinda right. Half of what Dinah had said to him had been aimed at what she'd thought was his arrogant attitude about what Morgana could do. But Morgana could look out for herself, and hadn't asked for Dinah's back-up. She owed Morgana an apology for trying to speak for her if it ever came up. Maybe she owed Arthur an apology for assuming, and the insults, but she thought the PMS comment that inspired them canceled that out. Anybody else she'd helped or tried to help lately, it was going okay for them, and it wasn't like she was the only one helping them out. Or like they were going to depend on her. The new kids would find their feet in a week or so, and then everyone could progress to jumping off buildings with her. If they wanted to.

Or, try to airwalk like Karla had taught her, like she was right now. Shoes over by the door, eyes shut, humming to try and concentrate.

Facepalming, Dinah said, "Yes, just a natural klutz. And not much of a demonstrator. I was trying to do this thing Karla taught me, without walking off the roof this time." She stood up straight, feet firmly planted now, and cleared her throat. "So, yeah. Practicing."

"... Walking off the roof?"

Yeah, okay, she got another stare for that.

Oh, he thought she was weird now. Give me time, Dinah thought, and sighed a little ruefully. "Air-walking? Levitating myself. Karla can do it really easily, but I almost got the trick of it, a week ago." She grinned a little, then bounced up on her toes. "It looked like fun."

"I am never going to get used to this place," George insisted, but it was with a bit of a smile. "I mean, it's weird, but most of the weird is cool. Not that you're weird! You're cool. Really you are. Although Mitchell would probably say that I'm not really an expert on cool, so how could I judge? But he'd probably just be teasing me anyway."

Mitchell would likely also say, "Breathe."

Dinah started giggling, because yeah, she was usually the babbler in any conversation. "It's fine, I know I'm a dork." She grinned a little, and shrugged. "And weird. But yay for the cool, then? Does Mitchell tease you a lot?"

"Every chance he gets!" George pouted. "I don't see why. And you are definitely not a dork."

Trust George. He knows from dork.

"Mean!" Dinah grinned, thinking Mitchell probably looked really cute while teasing George. Perversely, George claiming she wasn't a dork was both flattering and confusing, since wow, she knew she was. She ate gagh so she could gross out Merlin and Tony! But it was nice of George to say she wasn't. "What else does he tease you about?"

At the very least, he didn't look any less cute while teasing George.

"Anything he can," George bemoaned. "Sometimes I think he makes things up just so that he can tease me about them."

Dinah's grin widened. "It can't be worse than stuff Tony teases me for. Or Priestly. For being an adrenaline junkie, or goofing around," she said. "I'll prove I'm a dork if you tellll."

George shook his head. "I suppose you'll just have to catch him in the act," he said. "Which shouldn't be difficult, in class."

"Fair enough," Dinah said, stretching out one arm above her head, amused. "How are you getting on with Jennifer now that you're both back in a room? Did you get a screen?"

"We... haven't really spoken much, actually," George admitted. "I suppose we should fix that. A screen sounds like a realyl good idea -- do you know where we could get one?"

"Uh-hunh. Chad and I got ours at Turtle & Canary." Turtle should so give her a commission. "They're at least half the length of the room, so you guys should feel okay about it. Assuming you don't just get on each others' nerves and decide to forget it. What room did you end up in?"

"We're in 510," George replied. "Turtle and Canary? That's in town, is it?"

"Yup! You haven't gone shopping yet?" Dinah asked, tilting her head in confusion. "Turtle owns it, well half of it. It's got everything, Slushies, school supplies, clothes, hair color... Have you met her yet?" Segues, pfttt.

"I don't think so... OH!" George slapped his forehead. "Of course. That's where I got my groceries on Saturday."

Chuckling at this, Dinah asked, "Groceries? Were you cooking, or cleaning up the cabin, or what?"

"Cooking." George made a face. "Or, well, both, really, I had to clean Mitchell's kitchen before I could use it."

Dinah snorted, then giggled, and said, "Bachelor hell? And what did you cook?"

"Risotto," George replied. "And then I popped some popcorn. We watched a movie."

Dinah's stomach growled. Her eyes widened at George, and she snickered. "Sorry. Um. I skipped lunch in favor of trying to levitate myself."

George grinned. "Then you should definitely get some food," he said. "Anything you like in particular?"

"Aside from anything with sugar?" Dinah grinned back. "Hmmm, Chinese food! Or Thai. Or sushi." She paused. "So basically anything Asian that reminds me of take-out back home," she confessed.

"If you want," George said, "I can make you something. It won't be take-away, but I can cook, so it should be okay."

"You could?" Dinah grinned, then nodded happily, not about to turn it down. "Sure! Better than take-away! If it's not too much trouble?" She beamed at him. "Thanks, George."
