3rd Floor Common Room: Saturday early evening [6-6-09]

Peyton had tried to report for detention today, but no one else had shown up. Which seemed to be on par with the way the rest of her week had been.

Solitary, um... activities in her room hadn't helped much, so she'd headed to the common room, sprawled out on the couch in something a little more exposed than she might ordinarily wear, ordered more pizza than she could ever eat when she couldn't decide on what she wanted, and was flipping through channels on the TV.

Funny how everything made her think of sex.

"Breaking the law's kind of fun," he said and smiled. "Very exhilarating."

Jennifer shook her head. "My dad would soooo not like you."

She smiled at him even more.

"Not too many dad's like me," he said and suddenly had the frightening fear of what Angela's father would do to him when they met. Yikes.

"Mine's a sheriff," she explained. "Pretty much likes the law."

"And what do you think of the law?" he asked. "Like it too?"

"I'm going to be a lawyer," Jennifer said.

"But you're not one yeeeeeeet," he teased. "Still time to have fun with the law."

"I think there's this thing called a permanent record," Jennifer said.

Hannibal waved a hand. "But, getting into trouble is so much fun."

"If it's the right kind of trouble," Jennifer said.

"If you're with the right person, it can always be the right trouble," he replied.

"So I need to find the right person?" Jennifer said.

"Yep," he said. "Find the right person, find some good trouble, find a damn good memory."

"I guess I'll have to start looking for interviewees," Jennifer said. "Know anyone?"

"Who likes getting into trouble?" he asked. "You're looking at one."

She'd really be regretting her flirting, later.

"Not today," he said because he'd probably need to find Angela soon. "But, anytime after that."
