3rd Floor Common Room: Saturday early evening [6-6-09]

Peyton had tried to report for detention today, but no one else had shown up. Which seemed to be on par with the way the rest of her week had been.

Solitary, um... activities in her room hadn't helped much, so she'd headed to the common room, sprawled out on the couch in something a little more exposed than she might ordinarily wear, ordered more pizza than she could ever eat when she couldn't decide on what she wanted, and was flipping through channels on the TV.

Funny how everything made her think of sex.

Fiona was glad to settle in her own common room. When she realized Peyton was there as well, she headed right over.

"I've got a treat for you," she said with a small smile.

"Oh? Where is he?" Peyton teased.

She laughed and sat down next to Peyton.

"Well, he couldn't come in person, but he sent me a little audio clip of some of his violin playing. I said I had an audience who'd appreciate it."

Her brother, of course.

Amazingly, Hannibal had emerged from his room today. He'd bypassed shaving (scruff seemed to go over well) and just ran a hand through his hair before going in search of food.

One floor down, he at least found people and wandered in, giving Peyton a wave as he did.

God, he was attractive. Angela's, Angela's, Angela's....

"Hey, Hannibal," she said. "Pizza?"

Edward bounded in, took a look at everyone, and made a quick trip towards the fridge for a cold beverage. "Greetings!"

"Hey," Peyton said with a wave. Why were all the guys on this island So. Damn. Hot. "Pizza if you want some."

"Eddie," Hannibal said as politely as he could. Sex pollen was good for civility?

Jennifer was too cooped up in her room, she had decided. She could go out, and not end up kissing any friends. That would be good.

So, she came down to the common room and sat down.

"Hi, everyone," she said.

Finally, another girl in the place. Which made one less person Peyton wanted to jump. "Hey, come on in, have some pizza."

Fiona waved from her spot on the couch, glad to see a friendly and familiar face.

Effy was definitely feeling that cooped up and far to energized for her own good feeling, which is what was uncharacteristically driving her to seek out people tonight.

"This country is too fucking hot," she announced as she sat on one of the couches.

Well, it was honest, if a little blunt for a first greeting.

After the... ahem, incident in Ben's room, Zayne stopped by the common room to get something to drink when what was the first thing he saw? Another person who was somewhat, ahem, "exposed." In the back of his mind Zayne had to ask himself how exactly this had become a reoccurring issue in his life.

At least things couldn't be any weirder than they had just been, so he decided to stick around and say hi to the room. "Good evening."

Another hot guy. At least he was one who didn't belong to one of her best friends. "Come on in," Peyton offered. "Have some pizza."

Make out with me. God, hopefully she hadn't said that out loud. She didn't think she had, but hell she was losing it.

Fiona waved from her place on the couch; she wasn't wearing the sapphire today, but she had a phone in it's place. She fiddled with it after greeting him.

Someone she knew! Someone who, not only Sookie knew, but who could probably sympathize with her mental, um, problems culminating from the week, to a degree.

And yes, he was cute, but that was secondary. She could control herself so much better than the people whose minds she was subject to hearing, thank you. Probably. "Hi, Zayne. How's life been treating you?"

Esme was not a social person. No, it was the smell of the pizza that brought her upstairs, and the idea that it had better be free. Not one to ask, though, she leaned to look at it...

And asked another question altogether. "What is that?"

Pizza was a bit new and odd-looking to someone not from this time, or a world that was round.

Sookie's room was, for some reason, too warm for her taste. (And coming from a girl from Louisiana, that was saying something.) She'd tugged on a sundress, feeling a bit...flirtatious, as she had the past couple days, and went out for a walk.

Granted, Sookie being Sookie, she wasn't oblivious to what was happening, in a very literal sense. She'd kept her mental shields firmly up as much as possible since class on Thursday, but it was starting to wear on her.

In any instance, she found her way to a common room with food, which was always welcome, and waved to the lounging girl on her way to get some.
