Third Floor Common Room - Monday Morning

Claire was in a great mood this morning. She felt like a huge weight was lifted from her shoulders thanks to her conversation with Dinah last night. Plus there was the whole normal hormones thing.

And maybe thinking about Jon a little.

She was awake far earlier than she needed to be, so she headed down to the common room and found what she needed to bake some cookies. She put the radio on and might even be singing along a little.

"I can handle the baking myself," Claire said quickly.

"Probably for the best," Karla agreed. "But point me to the things what need cleaning and I will."

She would also cheat, and use Craft. But it was still helping!

"I most certainly will," Claire promised with a grin. And really, she didn't care how Karla did it. She just hated doing dishes.

There were measuring cups and the like in the sink, and Karla felt obligated to start. She'd demolished the previous batches already. With a bit of Craft, the sink turned on, the water warmed, and a soapy sponge ran over the dishes. Karla stayed at the table, finishing a cookie.

"I really liked the peanut butter ones," she said innocently. "You know, just sayin'."

"Well you're in luck because that's what I'm mixing right now," Claire said.

"I love this school," Karla said happily, content with cookies and good conversation.
