Third Floor Common Room - Monday Morning
Claire was in a great mood this morning. She felt like a huge weight was lifted from her shoulders thanks to her conversation with Dinah last night. Plus there was the whole normal hormones thing.
And maybe thinking about Jon a little.
She was awake far earlier than she needed to be, so she headed down to the common room and found what she needed to bake some cookies. She put the radio on and might even be singing along a little.
[open as common rooms are!]

When this place wasn't going out of its way to piss her off, she loved it.

She pointed to a batch that was resting on a cooling rack. "Those ones should be cool enough by now."

What? Growing Dark-Jeweled witches need to eat!
"How're things?" she asked before taking a bite. Mmm...good cookies.

She finished moving the fresh batch to the cooling racks, checked the timer on the batch currently in the oven and helped herself to a cookie.
"Things are... actually really good," she said. "How about you? Did you make it through the sex pollen stuff okay?"

Honestly, she was thrilled that Dinah had talked to Leto about her, if it had kept Leto from doing something foolish. But she was in a playful mood this morning. She was also happy to notice that while Leto was still attractive, he was no longer quite as mesmerising as she'd found him Friday in the salle.
[Sorry! Just saw this]

[Gah! Ok, I'll keep this post]

and added with permission."Imply? Oh no, Leto, I was being mmch less subtle than that," she said. "Kiss kiss."

Noticing Claire, he approached her. "Good morning! What are you making?"

Or now, as the timer beeped just as she said that. She grabbed an oven mitt and deftly removed the tray from the oven.
"How are you?" she asked, her cheeks tinged pink as she recalled what Jon had told her and what she had heard on the radio.

He noticed the blush, and it surprised him. He hadn't met Claire during the past week, and he was blissfully unaware of the radio reports. That is, he wasn't thinking about them. "Is everything all right?" he asked, frowning.

Cause, holy crap, Peter hadn't been kidding when he said there was someone who looked like him here.
Give her a moment, she's in shock.
