Magical Reserve - Preserve Next to the Cabins, Wednesday

Merlin may not have been as bouncy as the last person to lead a reserve this week, but he was at least energetic. In a far more British way.

There were varieties of tea. New doors opened to him there.

"Hello everyone. Today we'll be working on finding at least a partner to work so any sort of weaknesses you have may be covered by them and also the other way around. I know we don't all know each other and out abilities yet, so this will just be a bit of a practice round. If you find someone you work well with, good. If not, you can always keep trying."

He smiled brightly, nodding at them all. "Just pick a partner now and discuss our try to show what you can do. Er--within reason of course. I don't think we'd be allowed back here if someone burned down the preserve."

Arthur was here - not in the thick of things, or really that close to the group itself, but leaning against a tree just off the perimeter to keep an eye on things.

Zack was there! There with his sword on his back yet again. Materia didn't typically work so well without it, after all.

He was also wondering how much sugar he ought to put into his tea, and if a well-placed blizzard spell would make it into iced tea. Mmmmm, iced tea.

Francine was there, though only to do what Francines do best: be oblivious bring cookies. You could catch her if you really wanted to talk to her, or just grab yourself some cookies from the plate she left behind.

Leda leaned nonchalantly against a tree. It was still kinda strange to her, such a variety of magic users. There were only a handful of kinds back in Bordertown.

Agnes sipped at her tea, and watched all the other magic users... watching each other. They really weren't much of a sociable crowd, were they?

When she finished her cuppa, on a whim she swirled the dregs around and peered in at the leaves.

Did you really want to partner up with the girl who was 100% sure she was smarter and better than you and had all of that written on her face? Except not literally, because permanent marker was a pain to wash of.

Karla looked around trying to figure out who to partner with. She had slightly over a decade of formal Craft training--finding a partner might be a bit tough.

She did her best, however, to look approachable.
