Magical Reserve - Preserve Next to the Cabins, Wednesday
"Hullo everyone!" Merlin greeted those who came with perhaps a bit less of the enthusiasm he had about ice cream the other night.
Alright, quite a bit less.
"Today we'll be trying a bit of what the fighters did yesterday with hide and seek. Though for us, I think it ought to be okay to use a bit of magic to aid ourselves. If you're able."
Which, sadly, he was not.
"So, pair up and get to work."

Then she gave Leda a sly look. "But, since you're obviously feeling better, I guess it's time to see if you can catch find me. Count to fifty?"
Karla dashed for the woods, raising a sight shield as soon as she got into the treeline. Within a few steps, she'd also begun walking on air so as not to leave a trail or make noise in the underbrush. Settling down in front of a tree, she waited.
Re: Hide & Seek
When she got to fifty, she went into the trees and tried to think of a spell she knew that would allow her to find Karla.
Maybe the one she'd sometimes used to find her shoes or something when they were lost? It was incredibly short range, so if Karla had gotten too far it wouldn't work.
She tried it, uttering the words in elvish, replacing the objective noun to a personal noun
Mun hopes that makes sense, and replacing shoes with Karla. It must have worked (yay practice sessions like this overriding her geas!) a little anyway because she started heading in the right direction.
Re: Hide & Seek
Totally made senseAt first, Karla just assumed that Leda had seen her enter the woods, and was choosing the logical direction. Then, however, as she grew closer, Karla realized that the other girl had some kind of magical bead on her location. Standing up, she began to move sideways, keeping an eye on Leda, thankful that airwalking meant that she wasn't making noise in the underbrush.
Re: Hide & Seek
"I'm gonna find you Karla." she said, not even sure if the girl was still in earshot. "And when I do I'm gonna tickle you."
Re: Hide & Seek
As soon as she spoke, she dropped to her hands and knees and scurried backwards, assuming Leda would be looking at about head-height.
Re: Hide & Seek
"Where are you most ticklish?"
Re: Hide & Seek
This time, she crawled to Leda's left, trying not to snicker.
Re: Hide & Seek
"I have my sources." she said, wishing her ears came with an enhanced hearing. She headed for where she'd heard Karla, but then suddenly changed direction. There was no way Karla would still be there.

Re: Hide & Seek
If Leda couldn't be fooled into following the noise, the least Karla could do is make sure she had no idea where Karla was.
