Main Campfire, Saturday Evening
Kate had spent the past few days mostly on her own. She had hung out in her alcove, listening to music, reading magazines and books and comics, and just generally enjoying some quiet time by herself.
But now she felt like it was time to socialize again, which was why she was at the main campfire. She hadn't brought any snacks with her, hoping someone else might bring something.
She was just sitting there, looking at the fire.
[Open like an open campfire is! ETA: I'm crashing for the night, will pick up pings tomorrow.]

"Hey sweetie," she greeted cheerfully as she found a log to sit on, brushing off a bit of dirt before she actually sat down.

She plunked down against a log, the animals settling next to her.
