Camp gym- Monday evening

So Jaina's squadron was half in the hands of someone else, meaning that she had... well, it wasn't a ton less to do for work, but it was enough that having free time was driving her crazy. Which was annoying till she figured out it meant more training time.

She wasn't as big a fan of the camp gym as she was the regular one, but it would do just fine. She took up her place at the bag, not even bothering to start slow or warm up today. It just felt better to get right into it.

"I'll do my best," Jennifer said. "But it's not something I have total control over, yet."

"How long's it been happening?" Jaina wondered.

"A little over a week, now," Jennifer said. "Not long at all."

"Ah, so you're enjoying the fun adjustment period," she said. "How's that going for you?"

"It's hard on my clothes," Jennifer said. "But... I actually think I like myself all big and green."

Jaina didn't know why she felt like smiling at that, except it was cool when people could accept things like that about themselves. "Really?"

"Yeah," Jennifer said. "It's actually kind of... empowering?"

"Good," she said, meaning it. "You've got it for a reason, there's no use in letting it seem like a detriment. Just don't break the gym equipment."

"I'll do my best," Jennifer said with a chuckle. "It's just one of those... I still don't know my own strength sort of things."

"There'll be some trial and error," she said. "I've seen some people new to their powers do some pretty... over the top things, but once they get the hang of it, it's just something embarrassing to hold over their heads once they get further into it."

Jennifer nodded. "So you're familiar with this sort of thing?"

"I'm a Jedi," she explained. "We're still getting new people into the Order who maybe didn't know they had powers before, or it didn't really manifest so they're just now figuring it out. I helped with the rudimentary training for a friend of mine, and seen it with others."

"I don't think I'm really familiar," Jennifer said. "But I think I understand what you're saying. I just wish there was someone who could give me rudimentary training on all this."

"That I don't think I could help with. Though I think in this place there has to be someone with experience in that sort of thing." And now she was trying to think of one.

"Well, if you find anyone who has transformation issues, let me know," Jennifer said.

Oh, how little she knew.
