Wendy the Werewolf Stalker Campfire [Wednesday Evening]

It was beautiful outside this evening, and so Emma found herself out by her cabin's campfire; cigarette in one hand as she balanced her notebook on her knees. It was easier to work on her creative writing assignment out here than in the cramped quarters of the cabin, and if she didn't like what she wrote, well, she could always burn it.

And really, there was no downside to lighting things on fire.

"Everyone has told me about it," Jean assured her. Even if more than a bit she didn't quite believe. Well, not until she saw it herself.

"Then I won't comment other than to say, 'no, really, they're right,'" Karla said with a laugh. "May I hope that you fared better than I did during the day of singing?"

She called in a bag of marshmallows and a handful of wooden skewers (purchased at T&C's of course!) and offered them to Jean. "Marshmallow?"

"Only sang twice," Jean replied, like that was a good thing. "Thank you."

Well the 'only' part was good!

"Sorry I don't have proper s'more fixings. I ate the last of the chocolate a few days ago and haven't gotten more yet." Mostly because it seemed like every campfire was equipped with the right ingrediants for s'mores.

"So, are you from another-where, another-when, or, amazingly enough, from the current here-and-now?"

"I'm from somewhere kinda like this without the weirdness." Well, some of the weirdness. "You?"

Karla's lips quirked. "I'm from the Territory of Glacia in the Realm of Kaeleer. And, no, I won't be hurt if you've never heard of it."

Well that was good at least. "I'm guessing that's not in the US?" It was a joke. Kinda.

"The US?" It would be so much easier if people stuck to one name when referring to America. "If that's in this world, then no. I am from a different world completely."

"That's very... nice." Strange and weird. "Is it like here?"

Karla laughed. "No. Not in the least. In fact, I thought I had ended up in the Twisted Kingdom--that is, went mad--when I first arrived. This world has no Craft, no kindred, and" Karla looked completely baffled for a moment "males are in charge of most things. It's almost a reflection of my world, actually, where Dark is Light, and night is day."
