Leery's River Campfire [evening]
Tonight, Sookie didn't even have to think about what she might be toasting over the campfire.
It was raining down on her.
So, being reluctant to stay inside even during a...storm of Pop Tarts, Sookie set herself up outside with a bucket in front of her, and an umbrella.
She was outdoorsy, not stupid.
When Pop Tarts landed in the bucket (or, in a few cases, in her lap), she speared them on a stick and toasted them over the fire. It was either sad or very beneficial, how a good number of the pastries were landing in the fire itself. It kept the fire going, anyway, even if it was a waste of toasted breakfast foods.
[open like a campfire! watch your head!]

Because that was a whole other thing, if they didn't. She was prepared to feel very sorry for him.

She paused.
"I have no idea why I don't weigh five hundred pounds, the way I've grown up eating, I swear."

Sookie, if only you knew.
