With the move back to the dorms over, Alex had immediately headed out of his room (Griff needed to find his jacket soon or later) and down to the deck. It was true, he kind of really liked this place even if it was hot today. That just meant a t-shirt and shorts had to be worn instead of something heavier.

He took a seat, feet up on another seat and leaned back to catch some sun. Last day of the weekend was meant to be spent in the laziest way possible, right? Well, lazy if you couldn't be doing all those other fun active things. Maybe he'd do something like that later.

Rose had moved her stuff back to the dorms after training this morning, but she wasn't ready to go down to Fight Club yet. She headed out to the deck, planning on getting some sun when she realised someone had already gotten there.

"Claimed your spot already?" she asked, finding seat of her own and totally stealing part of the chair Alex's feet were on for her own feet.

He glanced down at the now shared seat, amusement in his face before he said, "It's my deck, I've decided. Everything's my spot."

"Ooh, do you have one of those cute little plaques with your name on it?" Rose asked sweetly.

"Sure." Yeah, he totally had one. Except not. "Just not here. It's displayed proudly in my summer home."

Rose snorted. "So back out at the cabin then."

Okay, even Alex could give people their just due when they made good cracks and that was a good one so he laughed. "Yeah, that's where it is. Didn't stop you from coming and stealing some space, did it?"

"Why should it?" Rose asked. "There was space right here to be stolen."

"Didn't even ask," he said, kicking one of her feet with his. "No 'please, Alex' or 'may I...' or anything."

"That's just how I roll," Rose said, smirking, nudging his foot back.

"And I didn't even get to see you naked first," he teased, shaking his head. "Apparently, that's going around."

"Missing out on seeing a lot of girls naked, Alex?" Rose pretended to sympathize. "Must be rough."

"Wouldn't you like to know," he said coyly. He was seeing plenty of naked girls, thank you. "I heard my roommate got to see you accidentally."

Rose laughed, catching up with his point. "It only took him a few minutes to remember how to talk too."

"And I know you're not the first naked girl he's seen," Alex said, shaking his head. Griff had so much to learn. "You've gotta be the...fourth? Maybe the third. You think he'd be used to it."

Rose smirked. "Or he is and I'm just that awesome."

Modest, Rose was.

"Oh, Rose, you are that awesome," he assured her with a laugh. Hey, he'd gotten to see her naked too. "But, no, I don't think he's used to it. He nearly ran into a wall once."

That was just fun to remember.

"Yeeeah, he's going to want to work on that whole stunned ox thing," Rose said, laughing. "Flattering but not so much with being attractive."

"I took him to a strip club a few days ago." Because he was such an awesome and giving roommate. "I don't know if he opened his eyes at all."

"Awww, look at you being all helpful like that," Rose said, reaching over to pat his shoulder. "Next thing you know, you're going to find him a girlfriend."

"Yeah, I dunno if that's ever going to happen," Alex said, making a face. "Seems he recently had a bad experience with a girl."

"Naked bad experience or drama bullshit?" Rose asked.

"Second one," he said, shrugging a shoulder. "I dunno, he didn't want to talk about it but the radio knows all or some shit like that. He told me he's given up girls."

"Not going to last," Rose said with certainty.

What? She totally knew that particular look Griff had. Still, it sucked. He seemed like one of the good guys.

Alex thought the same. "He, apparently, can't do what I do. Or he doesn't think he can. Because I'm a big giant asshole."

Which wasn't news.
