5th Floor Common Room, Tuesday Evening

Thanks to his kind of unexpected change of address a month ago, the DVDs that Bobby had pre-ordered had taken a few extra days to actually make their way to him. But they were here now, and that was the important part.

He rummaged through the common room kitchen until he came up with some chips and soda, and then popped his brand-shiny-new Go-Between Guy DVDs in to the DVD player.

Marathon time!

"Oh, hey Bobby-dude," Hurley said, wandering into the common room. "What's up?"

"Go-Between Guy! On DVD! And it's miiiiine all mine," Bobby crowed. "...Though you can watch too," he added after a moment.

"...Go-Between Guy?" Hurley said, utterly unfamiliar.

"Oh, dude, dude," Bobby shook his head. "You haven't heard of it? It's- okay, basically the premise is there's this secret organisation- the Go-Between Guys- who fight like, monsters and aliens and things. And the current Go-Between Guy is teaching his apprentice how to do all this stuff and it's just... really, really awesome."

Mirax was bored enough to start wandering, so she was happy to find something going on up here. Taking one look at the TV, she grinned and said, "Aww, you decided to entertain me."

"I did? I did!" Soooo suave, this one. "Come in, take a seat, partake of awesome television."

"With that formal invitation, how could I not?" she asked, taking a seat. "What are we watching?"

"Go-Between Guy," Bobby told her. "Which was sadly and unfairly canceled way before it should have been."

Hurley waved at the girl he'd not met. "Hey," he said, smiling all friendly-like.

"Hey," she smiled. "I can't believe I've been here a month and I still have to do this, but hi, I'm Mirax."

"Hey, I've been here longer than that and have to do it," Hurley said. "Cool name. I'm Hugo, but everyone calls me Hurley."

In the war between cranky over the critique she'd gotten in rehearsal earlier and hyper from the sugar she'd had, hyper won out, and Gabrielle came bouncing up into the common room four floors up from where she lived.

"Oh, it's those moving picture things," she said cheerily as she dropped into a chair. "What are we watching anyway?"

"Go-Between Guy," Hurley said. "I only just started watching, and it might be the best TV show ever."

"It's very, um." Gabrielle peered at the screen. "Very bright. How are you so sure it's the best already?"

"Because it has, like, everything a show should have," Hurley said.

"Pure concentrated awesome," Bobby supplied helpfully.

". . . that's a funny name for a play," Gabrielle told him. (Hi there, cute boy.)

"That's more of a description than a name," Bobby had to admit. "Really it's Go-Between Guy."

"I'm just as lost as you are," Mirax told her. Except not really.

"Oh, thanks," Gabrielle replied. "It's always nice to know I'm not the only one." You just keep clinging to that, Gab.

Layla was in a good mood as she bounced cheerfully into the room.

"Hi!" she said flopping on the couch. "Ooo. Go-Between Guy."

"Hey," Hurley said with a little wave. "So you've seen this before?"

"Nope!" Layla chirped. "But I know it's good."

"Hey, Layla," Bobby said with a wave. "We're marathoning." He couldn't help wondering if she'd known that already.

"The chips and the DVD's were a pretty good clue," Layla said with a grin. "I hope you don't mind but I ordered Pizza."
