Huh. No Arthur to be seen, which meant that Zack was going to step up to the Reserves-Leader-Plate again, grinning a little. He kinda loved taking charge! So what?

"So, since we're hopefully starting to get into the swing of things again, this week we're going to talk about our weapons. Again!"

Why not?

"Every weapon has strengths and weaknesses. My sword, for example, has excellent reach because of its size, but it sacrifices manoeuvrability as a result. An arrow is better for ranged attacks, but weather conditions like rain or wind might affect your aim. Some weapons might rust in certain weather. And being on an island, well, we're prone to that kind of weather, yes. So what we're going to do today is try to come up with one example of a shortcoming of our weapon of choice, and how we're going to account for it!"

Zack then motioned to a cardboard box over by the wall.

"And please, please take a bag of Oreo cookies with you when you go. For you, for a friend, whatever. I might have bought a few too many."

A few cases too many.

"Well sure," Layla said snacking on the Oreo. "That's because you're not on the list. Yet."

There was a big grin at the end of that comment to clearly indicate she was joking.

"How many cookies do you need to make sure it stays that way?" Ben replied, grinning back.

"Oh, at least a dozen," Layla said with mock-seriousness. "A week."

"Of course!" Layla replied. "And if you act now you ten percent reduction in cost. Plus a free sham-wow."

"It's a German engineered towel," Layla explained. "It can hold up to twelve times its weight in liquid! It washes, dries and polishes any surface. It's like a towel, chamois and sponge all in one!"

"Truly an engineering marvel, huh?" Layla smirked.

"I think my dad's droid needs three of them," Ben declared.

"Okay," Layla said channeling her inner Billy Mays. "If you pay two weeks in advance you'll get the two Sham-Wows and I'll throw in an extra one for free."

"Excellent," Layla replied reaching into her backpack. "That'll be $19.95 for shipping and handling."

"...where are they being shipped from? Mars?"

"Actually Mars would be bit more expensive," Layla replied with a sigh. "Fine. We'll waive the cost of shipping and handling ."
