Third floor common room- Thursday night

The plan had been to curl up in the common room with a datapad so she could catch up on reports. She'd put the TV on for noise, just because she wasn't in the mood for silence today. This had changed said plan.

Currently she was sitting on the sofa, looking at the datapad during commercials, because she'd found the meta for Dirty Dancing, and after the John/Gavin gremlin bite that would live in infamy, she couldn't not watch.


[Once I saw it was on, I had to. Also I am bored enough that I might send my other student to my own CR. Fix this.]

"I think I was pretty close when I first met you and the other Jedi," Zayne reminisced. "I think the only thing that could get that reaction out of me now would be if Master Lucien came in as a freshman."

"You know," Tahiri remarked, "these things are likely enough to happen before you actually name them. Oh, hey, did you sign up for the sibling program too?"

"With my luck, it's really likely either way," Zayne commented. "And I did sign up for it! It's my first time. I hope I don't mess my sibling up."

"You'll be fine," Tahiri told him. "Whoever gets you is getting a good deal."

"Thanks," Zayne said, smiling with a little more confidence and a little less concern. "Have you done the sibling thing before?"

"You're perfect big sibling material," Tahiri added, just in case she hadn't been reassuring enough. "And this'll be my fourth time."

"Oh, wow. You have as many siblings here as I do back on Phaeda," Zayne said. "Were any of them weirded out by you being from another galaxy?"

"Alex thought I was messing around with him." If irritation showed in her face at that, well, Alex wasn't her favorite little sibling. "Spock's from another . . . well, planet, at least. And I don't think anything can weird him out."

"I'm kind of hoping for someone like that," Zayne said. "But however it works out, I'm sure it'll be a good experience. I'd ask you to agree with that, but I guess that's implied since you've done it four times already."
