Hayley was lying down on a couch, poking at the TV remote. She wasn't finding anything that was interesting at all. She switched the TV off and sighed.

"Bored bored bored," she said.

She grabbed a gossip magazine from the table and started to flip through it.

"I don't even know who any of these people are!" she said, before throwing the magazine across the room.

She was getting restless. Restless and angry.

Hayley suddenly laughed. "Wait, we met last week! With guns!"

"Aha!" Triela grinned. "So we did. You're the one who's a newbie at school and a newbie with guns."

"I guess?" Hayley said. "I'm new, definitely. But I'm not a bee."

"Well, I do have to admit that you're not very bee-like in appearance."

Hayley giggled. "That's cause I'm just a person."

"That makes you a rarity around here," Triela smirked.

"...it does?" Hayley said, not quite believing it. "I've met plenty of people. Not many bees."

"Plenty of people, not so many just people."

"...Huh?" Hayley said. She wasn't too bright, anymore.

"Well, my hand's mechanical. That makes me more than 'just people', right?"

"Not really," Hayley said. "That's like sayin' someone with a wooden leg isn't a person, and that doesn't seem right."

"Would you say they're more than a person, though?" Triela thought that lumping everyone into one big category of 'person' was pretty imprecise.

"I dunno," Hayley said. "I mean, why do we have to single people out?"

"Is that any worse than lumping them all into one category?" Triela asked, eyebrow quirked slightly.

"...that's a bad thing?" Hayley said. "It's practically democratic, isn't it?"

"Most people like to think of themselves ad individuals," Triela pointed out.

"...well, if bein individual makes you more than a person, than we're all more than people!" Hayley said. "I like it!"

"There you go." Triela wasn't sure she had actually gotten her point across, but she also wasn't sure she'd do any better than that.

"I wouldn't have even thought of that," Hayley said. "You're real smart!"

"Um... thanks." she made a note to keep a more careful eye on Hayley at Gun Club. Just in case.

"I can't wait for the next club meeting," Hayley said. "It's gonna be great!"

"I'm looking forward to it myself," Triela agreed with a grin.

"It'll be great to learn how to shoot," Hayley said. "I mean, it's a great equalizer, right?"

"Definitely. And tey're just plain fun."

Hayley giggled. "Well, I hope to find that out too."
