The Roof [Wednesday, Afternoon]
Even after a couple of hours to uh, get used to her new parts, Effy was still a little unimpressed by the situation. Look, she liked guys. A lot. That didn't mean she wanted to be one, particularly. As sure as she was that it would wear off... It was weird.
Smoking was really her best counter for that sort of thing, and it didn't take her long after sorting out something to wear that actually fitted her before she was getting restless and ventured out on the roof to sit in her traditional spot, cross-legged and pull out a pack.
Her body may have changed, but she definitely had not.

He spared a brief glance at the unfamiliar person on the roof with him and dug out his cigarettes automatically. He'd be polite in a minute. Or something. Maybe.

"Afternoon."
Question was, would he recognise her any better as a guy, than he did as a cat. Hints from class earlier would suggest not, but...

Of course, that accent was enough to bring his head up and around towards the guy. He didn't know that many British people, after all. Still, didn't want to guess and guess wrong.
"Hey," he said, nodding. "Out for some fresh air?"
no subject
Which probably ruined the effect a little. Oops?

Said the guy who was smoking too.

saidlied, and took another drag."I'll save you a seat on the boat to hell."

And he was almost certain he knew who this was. Almost.
"Enjoying your new equipment?" he asked because he did know that. He'd been the roof enough to know who came up there.

"What, you haven't tried it out?" Alex asked, still laughing like this was the funniest thing in the world. He probably was doing it partially to piss her off. "You can see what I feel like when you get your hands on my dick."

"Think you'll know what to do?" he asked, still laughing. "Different when it's on you."
no subject
"Thanks, but I think I can figure it out."
no subject
Most of the time.
"But hey, if you can't figure it out, I'm sure I can get you a diagram or a book or something."

Alex found himself missing Prince Edward for the sheer fact that if he'd still been here, Effy borrowing his clothes would have been HYSTERICAL.
no subject
... She hadn't even wanted to think what she'd have ended up in if she'd borrowed anything from Edward.
"Better than wearing anything of mine." That would also have been pretty funny, given what most of her wardrobe was made up of.

"One good thing about ending up a girl was being able to wear my clothes and just having them be baggy as all hell," he said, pleased at that. "I didn't have to go scrounging around for clothes on the verge of tears because my pants don't match my shirt!"
At least, that's what he thought most girls did.

"Lost tattoos along the way," she said. "There's anything distressing, it's that."

Which was probably a good thing, because it was a kind of girly tattoo (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y12/Binx_349/vlcsnap-5597620.png?t=1253728948). There was a reason guy her wouldn't have had it.

He liked being annoying sometimes.
