The roof, late afternoon/evening, Friday

Time for dorm-jumping! Dinah had plenty of gear out for rappelling, and already had her vest and harness on. This time the Sixth Floor wasn't in the middle of construction, so it was going to be a lot easier. Plus, a couple people had promised they'd try it. At least once.

For now, there was grinning off the edge and waiting for people to show up.

[Up earlyish for great justice. It's an open roof, so anyone's welcome to drop by, or assume Dinah told you. Or to see people out your window - ping in to the floor comment with a link to an already-open room or CR, or comment from your floor. This is how it worked the last couple times.]

"I promise and swear, she still doesn't get your parking spot." The one that didn't exist. "But you're not gonna die! You and Tony, sheesh." She grinned at him. "Look, let's make sure the gear fits first? Then you can keep thinking it over?"

Dinah got him a vest and harness, and tapped her own so he could see how it was fastened. "Arms, legs, waist." She grinned. "Then I'll check it as soon as it's on, okay?"

Priestly fiddled with the harness for several moments before he started putting it on. "Is this gonna squish my junk?"

Dinah turned red from swallowing giggles, and said, "Not if you, uh. Loosen the leg straps enough... and if your jeans aren't already too tight." Noooot looking. She grinned, and reached up to loosen a strap on his shoulder. "Like that."

Dinah cracked up, resting her head against Priestly's chest as she giggled. "Priestly! There is no kinky! There is danger and risk and... okay, maybe just a little bit."

Dinah gave him a hug, face still red, and stepped back, grinning. "So. Yeah. Let's get you set." Ahem. "And then dangle you off the roof!"

Dinah grinned and walked him over to the edge, flipping her legs over the edge. "Okay, so. You get into position, by leaning back." She stood up. "Legs apart." Spread them about shoulder width. "And carefully loosening the slack...."

Priestly took a deep breath and nodded, practicing the movement a few times before he turned around and got into position. "Right. I can totally do this."

Priestly eased himself back until he could feel the support of the rope, then started slowly letting himself down.

Three steps down and he started laughing.

"Holy crap, I'm totally standing on the wall."
