The roof, late afternoon/evening, Friday

Time for dorm-jumping! Dinah had plenty of gear out for rappelling, and already had her vest and harness on. This time the Sixth Floor wasn't in the middle of construction, so it was going to be a lot easier. Plus, a couple people had promised they'd try it. At least once.

For now, there was grinning off the edge and waiting for people to show up.

"Exactly!" Happy about this logic and not at all put out, Dinah bounced and pointed. "I brought six sets, just in case. If more people show up, we can totally take turns. I want everyone to get a chance, though."

Triela nodded. "I suppose one of us can man the roof when the other is on the way down?" Considering how many people were there, Triela didn't want anyone jumping around without some sort of supervision.

"That's probably a good idea-- Tony and Priestly haven't done this before at all, and they're both really nervous. I figured I'd go down with each of them separately, so they'd be okay," Dinah said, nodding. "I don't know if they'll want to do it more than once, but they promised they'd try."

"And how'd you get them to do that," Triela asked as she began climbing into her own harness.

"Priestly I mostly just begged a lot. I think he gave in to shut me up." Dinah started to turn pink, and carefully didn't look over at Jak. "Tony wouldn't do it until I agreed to a dare from him. ThatIkissaguy."

Triela's eyebrow quirked upward. "Ooooooh? And I notice that Tony is here, so...."

Dinah turned completely, utterly red, and her eyes flicked sideways to Jak. Who probably looked pretty darn cheerful.

Triela snorted, definitely amused. "That's one way to communicate, I guess."

Apparently she was going to see if she could make that blush even brighter.

Yes, yes it is. "Triela!" Then Dinah laughed. "One of many. Yes. Shush."

Oh, Dinah, you really shouldn't give people lines like that.

"Uh huh. And how many of the other ones have you tried out so far?"

Okay, that just got her inarticulate flailing and head-shaking of NO. NO, TRIELA, NO.

"You're going to make me guess?" Triela teased.

Yeah. She was evil.

Dinah got her breath back and very firmly said, "No, Triela. Kiss. That's it. I am not gonna address the rest of that innuendo, not at all."

"Hmmmm..."

Triela smirked, but relented. "Fair enough." She did, however, quirk an eyebrow, "Aaaand?"

"It was really nice," Dinah blurted, rocking on her toes, looking over at Jak.

Triela grinned broadly in amusement. "Wow. That's so very descriptive," she teased.

Dinah waved her arms-- not flailing! No! "Well, what else is there to say?" she demanded. "It was nice and maybe we'll do it again soon and I don't know!" She was still smiling, though.

"You work pretty fast," Triela teased. Because, really, how often did she get a chance to mess with Dinah like that?

"Oh, pfftt. Not. I've known him three weeks at least, and there are people who work way, way faster than me. Way." THen she paused. "You were joking..." She facepalmed, laughing. "Leave me alone, Triela."

Triela smirked. "At least you waited three weeks."

Then she reached out and gently touched Dinah's arm. "But it sounds like you don't regret it, so..."

Dinah grinned at her, nodded. "Not even a little." If she had other regrets, well. They weren't connected to kissing Jak.

There was a moment of internal debate as Triela considered her next question. She wouldn't ask it of most people, but... Dinah was a good friend.

"What's it like?" The whole kissing thing.

Dinah was surprised a second that Triela had asked, and her fingers went to her mouth as she smiled, trying to think of words. "Um. Warm?" That was the first thing she thought of. "Soft. A little wet, but not... really wet, I mean, we didn't do some really deep French kiss." She wanted to flail again, and the blush started working its way up her face. And that wasn't exactly what Triela wanted to know... "It's like getting a buzz from your lips, and it kinda-- works its way outward. And giving Jak a buzz back--" She laughed and put her hands over her face. "I'm no poet, I don't know, I can't explain it very well."

Triela nodded slowly as if that description had made any sense to her, when it hadn't. She just didn't have the necessary references to understand the appeal.

"That sounds... nice." She tried really hard not to sound dubious.

Dinah sighed, rubbing at one pink cheekbone. "If you like someone, it's really, really nice. If you only kinda like them, it's just-- a step up from a hug, I think. At least for me. But I have to be extra careful, so..." It was nice, not having to be so careful with Jak. To just let go, and go with the moment.
