The roof, late afternoon/evening, Friday

Time for dorm-jumping! Dinah had plenty of gear out for rappelling, and already had her vest and harness on. This time the Sixth Floor wasn't in the middle of construction, so it was going to be a lot easier. Plus, a couple people had promised they'd try it. At least once.

For now, there was grinning off the edge and waiting for people to show up.

[Up earlyish for great justice. It's an open roof, so anyone's welcome to drop by, or assume Dinah told you. Or to see people out your window - ping in to the floor comment with a link to an already-open room or CR, or comment from your floor. This is how it worked the last couple times.]

Dinah snickered, letting go of him, then grinning up at him. "Maybe? Maybe. Maybe I'll think of something good, and.. you know. Have another burst of nerve." She couldn't even think of what to ask Jak out to now, that they didn't do anyway; running around and lunch and hanging out. But maybe she'd get an idea and it would be almost as right as kissing him had been. "If you've got suggestions, sing out."

Priestly shrugged. "Claudia and I didn't hook up until the Valentine's dance. And I kinda stumbled into that. I'm the wrong guy to ask."

Dinah untangled herself from the bushes a little more, and studied Priestly. "You still miss her, hunh? Not really looking for anyone else, yet?"

Priestly shrugged. "She totally got me, you know?"

Dinah gave him a look of real sympathy. "Yeeeah, I do." Which, she realized, was the best description ever of what she'd been looking for. Somebody who got her, or who had a chance of it. Telling Priestly there'd be some other girl, somday, who would get him wouldn't help much. "You were lucky to have her." Which maybe didn't help either, but it was true.

Priestly nodded. "Yeah. I totally was."

Dinah squeezed his arm again. "You've still got me. I'm not going anywhere. Even if, you know. Jak and me are maybe going to be a thing now."

Priestly gave her a look. "Right, 'cause I'm totally scared that you having a boyfriend is gonna steal you away."

Dinah grinned. "Some things should be spelled out! Just in case." And because Edward and Claudia had left so close together. "Anyway. You ready for another run?"

"I think maybe this time I'll just watch."
