Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Evening

Bobby was bored, there was no question about it. He was also feeling sociable, though, which meant he was out in the common room in an effort to cure that boredom. Sprawling on the couch with a Rebel Justice Unleashed comic, he had a ridiculous amount of treat-size chocolate bars in various bowls spread on the table.

As for why he had so much chocolate in the first place? Well. He couldn't actually explain it. This island just seemed determined to make sure he always had more than enough food to go around. Weird.

Hayley bounced into the common room and literally squealed with joy.

"Candy!" she said.

"Yup. And I'm even sharing," Bobby said, looking over the top of his comic book at Hayley.

"Well that sure is nice of ya," Hayley said. "I'd be tempted to keep it all myself... but then I'd make myself sick."

"Well, some people say that's part of the Halloween experience," Bobby allowed. "But since we've got class tomorrow I'd say that probably not making yourself sick is a good plan."

"Little bit of a sweet tooth there, Bobby?" Rose asked, surveying the massive mounds of chocolate on the table.

"I'm a growing boy!" Bobby defended his nutritional choices.

"Lucky for you," she teased. "Otherwise you'll have to package yourself as a miniature."

Said the girl who stood 5'2", yes.

The only reply Bobby felt like dignifying that with was to grab a tiny Coffee Crisp (and what was that, anyway? He'd never seen that kind of chocolate before) and hurl it at Rose.

"I think he's gotta whole sweet mouth!" Hayley joked, giggling madly.

"And that's why we're keeping Bobby out of prison at all costs," Rose said, slightly nonplussed by the giggling. "I think I'll be good if I never hear about his mouth again. Kissing and telling's never a good plan."

"...he's been kissing and telling people?" Hayley said. "That's not what a good boy is supposed to do." She tilted her head. "Who's he been kissing?"

Maron was bored. So she was wandering.

"...are you starting Halloween early?" she asked with a quick grin.

"It's never too early for massive amounts of chocolate," Bobby declared.

"Of course not," Maron laughed, "but even so, that's quite a lot for even that idea."

Maron was a teenage girl yes, but she was a fairly health conscious one.

Mostly.

Even if the chocolate did look appealing.

"Well, it's not all for me," Bobby admitted. "I brought it out with the hopes that people would come and take some, and hopefully entertain me while they're at it."

Jaina was determined not to get emo all over the common room. No one fear! In fact, she came out because staying in her room was driving her crazy and if she put herself through any more training today, limbs might fall off in protest. She just needed to be around people at the moment, because people were distracting and this was a good thing.

Bonus if there was chocolate. "That better not be a tease," she said, noticing the bowl.

"Bobby's apparently a growing boy," Rose said dryly. She smiled at Jaina. "Hey, how're you?"

Hm. That could be an interesting answer, but Jaina didn't really know the answer yet. "It's been a week," she said slowly. "But there's chocolate, so that improves it some."

It was the little things.

"And half-off chocolate on Saturday," she said. "So something to look forward to if it comes to that."

"I never tease when it comes to chocolate," Bobby said seriously.

Especially when it came to girls and chocolate. Look, he lived with Jean. That would just be asking for trouble (which, admittedly, he did do on several occasions, but even he knew better sometimes.)

"Good boy, you're learning well," she said, taking a piece and finding a seat. "Hit a good Halloween candy sale or something?"

"Or something," Bobby agreed. "Though it might have been a sale. I'm not sure. All I know is I went in to get one bag of candy and walked out with an armload," he said. "That keeps happening."

"It's Fandom. It could happen," Jaina said in all seriousness.
