Having handwavilyomg put up some very, very poorly spelled signs with Tara for people to know about this, Merlin was more than happy to get things started.

If only because there had been some rather insistent candy yesterday and he'd tried some out of pity and now believed Halloween may be evil. So, there was that.

But he had everything all set up and hopefully there wouldn't be an attack of some also horrible sweet from his time. But this was Fandom, so that was an actual concern. Damn Fandom.

The wince turned into a frown of concern and... something she couldn't put her finger on, but Francine nodded again. "If there's something else bothering you... you know you can talk to me, right?" Given everything that had happened recently, the list of possibilities was endless, really.

"I know," Katchoo replied, still absently. "Francie, you know Raven better than I do, right? You think she'd mind if I wanted to paint her?"

That had Francine, a few steps towards the food, turning back to look at her. "Raven? I... don't know." Katchoo had wanted to paint her. Francine. But... well, artists needed more than one model, she guessed. "I think she's kind of shy." Her Halloween costume last night aside.

"Just means there's a lot more to uncover, doesn't it?" The look on Katchoo's face, which was still turned in Raven's direction, turned speculative and a little bit sly. "Sounds like fun."

That was not the slightest twitch of.... naaaaaah. Cuuldn't be. "...Right. I, um. I guess." Okay, maybe a little bit. "Uncover?"

Katchoo so wouldn't have noticed right now even if there was a twitch of naaaaaah. "Well, yeah. You know what I tend to paint."

She tended to paint men, was Francine's first thought. Then, Oh right. Men without clothes.

"Oh." Her mind skidded right on past Was that how she wanted to paint me? with only a brief glance out the window towards it, landing in a big pile of -- Oh for God's sake, Francine, don't be silly, it's just art. You're not jealous of those guys, are you?. "Well, she's probably here. I guess you could ask her. I'll get you that stew."

She turned again, heading off to do just that, and trying not to be silly.
