fourth floor common room | evening | saturday | november 28

Hannibal knew that, technically, he should be spending his free time practicing so he wouldn't make a huge fool of himself when he finally fulfilled his requirements for losing his bet with Kate. Instead, he was sprawling in the common room, lights off, with a loud, action packed movie on the television. He'd ordered himself a pizza and decided that pretending that he didn't have humiliation in his future was a much better plan.

[cr's an open place, if'n you want!]

"This is Fandom. It's bound to happen sooner rather than later." Diana reminded him.
furnaceface: (Wtf?)

//Fair enough.// A pause, while Jono considered that point very carefully. //Is there even a bank on the island?//

He... actually hadn't noticed one. Maybe he wasn't looking very hard.

"I think so?" Diana guessed. "I mean, there's like a hundred different places represented. I don't even use American dollars."
furnaceface: (Casual conversation)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
//And I've just been usin' my cards,// Jonothon replied. //I have American money on me, but I suppose I could spend quid around here just as easily, and nobody would so much as blink, would they?//

[identity profile] oops-mbad.livejournal.com 2009-11-29 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
"You could probably use pieces of someone's soul and they wouldn't blink. Not that you should use someone's soul as currency." Diana hastily added.
furnaceface: (Wtf?)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
//I think that would pretty definitely be a bad idea,// Jono agreed, blinking. //Souls are not for selling.//

Truly.

[identity profile] oops-mbad.livejournal.com 2009-11-29 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Diana nodded. A lot. "Exactly. Plus, h-e-l-l already has enough issues without any extra souls in it."
furnaceface: (Told you so)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
//Yer suppose they couldn't handle a sudden population boom?//

That thought amused Jonothon probably more than it should have, yes.

"Ugh, I really, really hope not. I mean, Barney is bad enough, but can you imagine him on every single channel?"
furnaceface: (Wtf?)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
... Oh, that was scary.

//That really is hellish, innit?//

[identity profile] oops-mbad.livejournal.com 2009-11-29 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
"Uh huh! I can see it now - a giant purple dinosaur reporting the news. And fighting crime."
furnaceface: (Facepalm)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Don't say it, Jono. Don't say it. Don't even think it...

//Imagine th'pornography.//

He said it. Sigh.

[identity profile] oops-mbad.livejournal.com 2009-11-29 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
"Noooooooo!" Diana said dramatically and reached for her wallet.
furnaceface: (Happy!)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
That was possibly the most satisfying reaction Jono could have hoped for, and there was a smirk sitting on his features as he crossed his arms over his chest, then.

//Or don't imagine it. Because if yer do, yer might never lose th'mental image.//

Too little, too late.

[identity profile] oops-mbad.livejournal.com 2009-11-29 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Diana tried to figure out why she was reaching for her wallet and gave up. "I officially dislike you."
furnaceface: (Happy!)

[personal profile] furnaceface 2009-11-29 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
//Oh, really now? I'm hurt.// He'd probably get over it. Jono was used to being officially disliked. //And there's no way to make up for it, really, is there?//

It could be worse. It would always be worse.
