fourth floor common room | evening | saturday | november 28
Hannibal knew that, technically, he should be spending his free time practicing so he wouldn't make a huge fool of himself when he finally fulfilled his requirements for losing his bet with Kate. Instead, he was sprawling in the common room, lights off, with a loud, action packed movie on the television. He'd ordered himself a pizza and decided that pretending that he didn't have humiliation in his future was a much better plan.

It must have been good.

Resist. Resist.
//And this is going to be in public, is it?//
He'd try the Turtle & Canary first. They seemed to have everything.

Wishful thinking!

"See, running away to live on a beach just sounds safer," he decided.

That would certainly make hiding from humanity into a challenge.

He was also full of bullshit.
//Yer suppose yer can make a small fortune between now and... when did yer say yer were going to do this?//
He would mark it on his calendar.

Hannibal was sure Jono was oh so surprised about that.

You could tell how shocked he was by how he managed to deliver that entire statement in perfect deadpan.
//Which dance is it?//

He was leaving out the leotard part, oh yes.

Jono was hell-bent on figuring this out, now, yes. Possibly because 'I can't even remember her name' presented a challenge, and he was musically obsessed enough that he was going to attempt to rise to the occasion.

[and i must be off to sleeeeeeeep!]

Shot in the dark for Jono! And he'd heard a bit about her shock-factor videos, and so it only made sense that Hannibal might be mortified to have to learn that dance.
Also, she had a stupid name that seemed easy to forget.
[Good night!]

"No and I'm kind of glad it isn't with a name like that," Hannibal admitted. "I'm sure that'd be even worse then what I've got."

If he didn't figure this out, this was liable to bother him for the rest of his days. Or, at the very least, until Hannibal was finished with his public humiliation.
