Hannibal knew that, technically, he should be spending his free time practicing so he wouldn't make a huge fool of himself when he finally fulfilled his requirements for losing his bet with Kate. Instead, he was sprawling in the common room, lights off, with a loud, action packed movie on the television. He'd ordered himself a pizza and decided that pretending that he didn't have humiliation in his future was a much better plan.

"I am sorry to hear that," Raven said, reaching for Hayley's hand. She didn't need contact to send or take feelings, but it made it easier. "Do you know what has been triggering it?"

"Oh, well, you know," Hayley said. "I keep thinking about... Bianca."

She was going to try and make her lie convincing, even if her serious face was in danger of breaking into laughter.

"Because then you'd do that thing you do?" Hayley said. "And I'd feel really good?"
