3rd Floor Common Room [Saturday Evening]
Bobby was in a much better mood than he had been in... a while, actually. Which is why he was actually out in the common room, randomly flipping through channels and munching on a bowl of popcorn.
There were a few strategically-placed blankets draped on the other couches to help combat the fact that the room was mysteriously cold, if anyone felt like stopping by.

Which was why he was wandering the Dorms again, looking for someone to hang out with. When he noticed that there were channels being flipped through, he made his mostly merry way in, sauntered on over to Bobby, and then grinned and plopped himself down on the couch nearby.
"Hey, bro!"
... Was it chilly in here? Zack didn't really notice all that much.

"It has been a while, hasn't it?" Zack shot Bobby a lopsided grin, and then gave him a thumbs-up before... Well, before reaching for the popcorn. Hey, it was there. He'd pop the next batch if they ran out. That worked nicely, didn't it? "How've you been, Bobby?"

So that they could be masters of denial together! It could be great!

Because the idea of playing videogames with his little sibling seemed like a better way to pass the time than dwelling on that whole 'monster' deal.

"It's fun!" he said enthusiastically. "I mean, I think so. Some people would say it's a waste of time, but some people wouldn't know fun if it bit them."

Typically, he managed to beat it up before it had the opportunity to take a chomp out of him. Fighting real monsters? So much more epic than a videogame. Probably. Zack wasn't entirely certain, yet.

"If you know that, then you've got your priorities straight," Bobby said with a nod. Yes, fun was a priority with him. Shh.

Zack laughed, gave his shoulders a little shrug, and then clasped his hands behind his head, still grinning. It was entirely possible that the grin was more a fixture than any actual sense of joy, lately, but that wasn't going to stop Zack from being hell-bent on wearing it.
"So, what are videogames... uh... like, then? I'm so not kidding when I say I've never played one, man. I kind of grew up finding other ways of keeping occupied, you know?"
Like battling killer frogs in the paths that cut through the rainforest around Gongaga. Never a dull moment.

"I know what they are, honest," he replied, and then popped a few more pieces of popcorn into his mouth. "Actually, Gaia's got a lot of the same technology that we've got around here, you know? Games and TV and all. I'm just a small-town kid, though, and we didn't see much stuff like that in Gongaga. But I think you answered my question anyhow. Ninjas and monsters are kind of a selling point."
And monsters belonging to ninjas!

And far less likely to beat you up.

...Unless you had a Wii and accidentally walloped yourself in the head with the Wiimote or something.
"That's-" Bobby couldn't help but laugh a little. "One way of putting it, I guess." Mostly he was picturing Professor Xavier's face if someone compared the Danger Room to a video game. It was the first time in a while that thinking about his mentor didn't leave him with that dull ache of oh god he's dead.

"Well, it's good to know that I'm kinda on the right track, then," he chuckled, and then kind of squinted at the television. "... Are they blending glowsticks?"
Look, glowy things were distracting. Even if they were part of infomercials.
[My computer was all "I OVERHEAT NOW LOL," and then I restarted and realized that it was almost three in the morning and I ought to crash soon. SP is made of shinies?]

He frowned. "Dude, I hate winter here, seriously."

Spock was trying not to look at the windows today, personally. It seemed disrespectful or something.
