She'd managed to forget that there was a party going on until late enough that she'd have felt sort of weird showing up—not to mention 'bout the fact that Ino was a bit weirded out by the idea of showing up at some strange grown-up's place for a party—and so, with her Santa hat perched jauntily on her head, she'd wandered into her common room to make hot chocolate.

It was totally seasonal. And so was the candy cane she was nibbling on. The candy was obviously the best part of this holiday, especially for someone who only had the vaguely concept of what the holiday entailed beyond 'shiny presents'.

But presents? Were pretty awesome too. She leaned against the counter and sipped her hot chocolate idly.

"No," she said, lips twitching. "It's just plain ol' little me up against the enemies."

Momoko laughed. "I can see why your dad would be upset, then! Well, sometimes that's the best, anyway, and that totally explains why you're so good in class. And I'm not asking for any hints on the final, so don't worry!" She grinned. "So, you are going home for the holidays then?"

[intraspective]

"Well, that and I started training really young--it's not holidays back home for me," Ino pointed out, shrugging a bit and dismissing the comments about finals.

She had her own plans for that, after all.

"I'll probably stick 'round 'less there's a mission or something, though."
