Second floor common room, Saturday afternoon

After spending the morning reading celebrity gossip mags online, Priestly was all set to be a little more social. He put his kilt on over a pair of ripped jeans, used every dye color in his collection to achieve a banded technicolor mohawk (and a little bit of stripe on his goatee), put in a call to Dinah, and hit the common room to whip up a couple hot subs.

After all, if he was going to go about setting fashion trends, he needed to have something that might draw people in, right?

Yeah, and okay, he was pretty hungry to boot. What? He was a growing teenage boy.

[ooc: open, chachacha.]

Dinah grinned, and perched on the back of the couch. "I'm not using them to fly today-- too cold-- but Priestly thought they'd make a good fashion statement." She shrugged, and the wings fluttered again. "I loved flying so much last month. It's something to look forward to... how's your first week with the new kids gone?" she asked, reaching to stroke Blind Seer's muzzle.

"Well enough," Firekeeper told her. "I have not yet talked to many, but that is sure to change," it was a small school, pretty hard to avoid running in to people. Blind Seer's tail, meanwhile, thumped the floor with enthusiasm at the attention. Firekeeper just shook her head. You are getting spoiled, she informed him with a look.

Dinah remembered something Tony had told her, and pointed at Firekeeper as she smoothed Blind Seer's fur behind his ears. Spoiling? What spoiling? Blind Seer was awesome, it was just appreciation. "One moon until more Darkest Night! I checked with Tony. So we can find out how that cliffhanger ended!" She'd puzzled over how to explain the time difference to Firekeeper, then thumped her forehead when she realized how easy it was.

"Good!" Firekeeper said emphatically. "I am not very good with waiting," she confessed to Dinah, somewhat sheepishly.

"Me neither," Dinah said, looking equally abashed. "Tony said there were hints about the next episode online-- on the computers? I'm almost frustrated enough to go look at them, only I'm afraid it'll make the waiting worse."

"I think," Firekeeper said slowly, "if I could read these hints, I would."

Which was something Dinah hadn't thought of, before she said it, but now-- "Tomorrow. Or Monday? Whichever. You come by my room, I'll look 'em up, if you guys want."

"You would do this?" Firekeeper looked pleased. She obviously had no qualms about spoilers. Of course, it helped that she had no idea what a spoiler was. "We have time tomorrow, I think. After work, but before Fight Club."

"That works," Dinah said, scritching along Blind Seer's jaw. "I'm supposed to go flying, maybe. And then Fight Club, like you said. In between works just fine."

"Then we shall do," Firekeeper said with a decisive nod. Blind Seer gave her a look through heavy-lidded eyes, that you didn't need to speak wolf to translate as keep doing that.
